Six stars?! Spectacular experience in every way. Well priced, comfortable bed, top notch staff. We will be back. On top of that, the location is ideal.

Excellent I would like to leave a positive review for the Arthouse Hotel in NYC. Thank you to Christy Melo for organising everything so easily and seamlessly and for being very organised and pleasant. Thank you to Daniel for arranging late check out with a smile on his face. Thank you both for your flexibility throughout our stay and it was (and will be again) a pleasure to be a repeat customer. Best Michael

Poor management This was our second attempt to give this hotel a try and unfortunately we won’t be back. Our first visit in April 2025 included a room with NO heat. After multiple visits by the maintenance head - because we “weren’t using the thermostat correctly” it was deemed in need of repair. The manager Fatima spent the entire evening interrupting our dinner and plans calling to confirm that we wanted to change rooms instead of just making that happen - why would anyone want to staying a room with no heat? The temperatures were record low that weekend, she knew we wanted to move from the initial call from us indicating the heat wasn’t working. For our inconvenience they were going to give us approximately $15 a day - for a room that was almost $500 /night. We told them that was unacceptable and eventually by the time we checked out, they comped the first night and Fatima was overly apologetic, asking us to give them another try, to call her directly next time and she would take care of us….second attempt this weekend - the hottest in record history. I called Fatima, was told she was on another call but would call back “immediately”. She never did. We made reservations - due to close proximity to our dtr. Check in and no AC. This time they immediately changed our room. The manager was too busy to speak to us. The front desk gentleman was great. Gave us a free pastry for our inconvenience - $7. We will be trying the hotel across the street next time - it’s obvious they don’t care - and our $400+/night stays are worth crumbs to them. The manager Fatima should have followed through - that lost a customer that visits NYC frequently and Hotel Belleclaire has gained one!
