Clean, Simple, Great Neighborhood and Price What a great find. The room and private bath were spotless, and the space thoughtfully designed. The bed was comfy. Staff were friendly. The other guests were cool. The location can't be beat. And the price was very reasonable. Perfect for my quick stay. Thanks, Pod 51!

Good value for money Overall it was a good experience. There was only one thing I did not like and understand. The shower cabin has see-through glass being adjacent to the sleeping area? The staff was very helpful, the room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels.

Give your reception staff chairs! Staying at Pod51, nice hotel with efficient, friendly, and incredibly helpful staff. However, I was genuinely shocked to see that the reception staff don’t have chairs or anywhere to sit during their long shifts. It’s hard to ignore the irony when many guests here work for or are visiting the United Nations just down the street. Yet no one seems to have raised concerns about the working conditions of the people who serve them daily. A simple chair is a matter of basic human dignity. Do better, Pod51.

Noisy environment The noise at 5:30 am was overwhelming. We did not get to sleep well at all. We were up by 5 - 5:30 am everyday with doors slamming and pigeons landing on air conditioners. I will not stay here again. The staff was friendly and our friends stayed on higher floors without trouble.

Good Our first double room was too small, air was humid with an unpleasant smell, air conditioner was so old, dirty and noisy, we could not imagine sleep well in that room. Staff were very kind and help us upgrade to a better room. We appreciated the location, very near subway station.
