Wingate BY Wyndham Manhattan Midtown

Best place to stay at the best price I really enjoyed my stay at the Wingate by Wyndham hotel. Apart from the updated room and ammenities the staff is what added the excellent touch to make this experience exceptional. Special thanks to the manager Ms Selina, Alex, Alexander, Anna and the rest.

Fantastic stay I loved New York regardless, but this hotel honestly made this trip even better. The staff were so friendly and more than willing to help regardless of the problem. Great stay, I would come back again!

Ecellent Stayed for 6 nights in a king bedroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel only opened in November 2019 and is spotless. There were 4 rooms on our floor so always quiet. The bed was super comfortable. The hand basin was in bedroom - not bathroom but that was not an issue. The hotel provided soap shampoo conditioner body lotion but no body wash - perhaps they reckoned the shampoo sufficed for both! The only hotel I have ever stayed in that provided a black face cloth with an embossed wording saying makeup removing - nice touch. Air conditioning was very easy to adjust and very effective. There was tea/coffee making facilities and also a small fridge. The breakfast room is quite small accommodating around 20 people at a time. Not a problem if you are early but gets busy later. Breakfast consists of individual cereal packets - approximately 6 varieties. Bagels muffins brown and white bread and danish pastries and of course a toaster. Different varieties of yoghurt. There is always scrabbled egg sometimes without cheese - sometimes without and either sausage or streaky bacon. There are 4 different kinds of tea and also coffee provided. The plates and bowls are hard cardboard and the cutlery is silver coloured plastic together with paper cups and it is a self-clean facility. The hotel is very convenient to the subway - just a few minutes walk. There is a bus a minute walk from the hotel (on same street) that goes direct to Penn Station where you can catch the subway to JFK by having to change once. Around the corner from the hotel on 6th Avenue there is a great little pattisiere called Paris Baguette and a takeaway/sit in a place called Toast with a great array of both hot and cold food - both places I highly recommend. If I go back to New York again I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Small but nice My wife and I had a nice stay at the Wingate in Midtown. The rooms are small but well designed and nice. The staff was great! Good location for exploring NYC. Breakfast was ok, but not many low-carb options.

Perfect Hotel For the price this hotel is excellent. Nothing too much trouble, comfy warm bed, extra duvet supplied without issue. Location is central to everything, one block from Empire State Building. Hotel staff very friendly and genuinely happy to help at all times. Stayed in much bigger and expensive hotels in NYC and the service of Wingate far exceeded my previous visits to the other hotels. Would definitely recommend and if i return to NYC will re-book here.
