Run Down Stayed 5 nights with my wife and children. Property is in terrible shape and needs many updates. Staff was nice, responsive, and friendly, but think twice about staying here. They will only clean your room once every three days. Sixth floor reeked like dead fish our entire stay. Breakfast did not include milk, cereal or juice. Carpets were worn and torn. Shower curtains bent and broken. Sport court a disaster. Swimming pool gate and entry doors were broken. I have stayed at many Residence Inns, and this was one of the worst. Convenient to restaurants and shopping, though.

Safety & Security Residence Inn Newark. Hello neighbors, My family and I were staying at Residence Inn, in Newark last week while our home was getting a repair. On Friday morning at approx 5-515am, I heard a very loud noise outside my window. My window faced the side of the parking lot. When I looked out my window I saw a black small SUV tucked behind 2 cars. Then a man appeared wearing a black cap and all black clothing. Got a clear shot of his face. Wish I recorded or took a picture. I was too shook at this point because I new he was up to something. He leaned down on the ground near the front drivers side tire of a burgundy honda civic, grabbed something and returned back to the SUV. I was hiding at this point. When he returned, I slammed my window shut. Startled him but only for a second. He then proceeded to go to the silver Honda pilot that was parked right next to the honda civic. That loud noise started again and I banged on the window really loud. Trying to still hide from him. He got scared and left abruptly. I called the front desk and reported it. I also made a police report- gave all details of the person and his vehicle. The hotel didn't seem alarmed and they stated that the police spoke to the security at the hotel. Mind you, they said the security had chased them off the property and failed to get a license plate number. The office staff said that it isn't securities protical to contact police.? Wait...what? The police only came because I filed a report. Wth.. I checked out the hotel early and moved me and my kids from this place. I met a man (while packing my car to leave) who's work truck was parked across from mine whom also had his cadallitic converter stolen. I'm assuming that is what was being stolen from the vehicles I saw this person tampering with as well. So....Be warned about hotels nearby and the staff. You never know who could be involved in these crimes. I dislike being accusatory but it seems a bit fishy to me that they didn't contact the police and security didn't see this activity going on at 5am to hella cars....?!?! Fishy and alarming! Feel yourself at home - A Charming Place!! Beautiful, confortable and charming bedrooms!! It is so nice to be in a room/bedroom that has the extra touch, which makes you feel so welcome and being like at home. The bedroom is bright, clean and it has colors, beautiful colors on the wall! And the kitchenette has a full size fridge, and everything else that you may need to make your own meals. But also the Residence Inn offers breakfast. All included. The dinning room is another charming place. Mariana, the front office manager, show us the whole place. It was very kind of her. And they also offer the experience of local restaurant dinner delivery. Very nice idea. I really enjoy it being there and I hope you also get the home-happy vibe that I felt there.

very nice and good location near freeway, grocery store and restaurants Very nice hotel, breakfast is good though the eggs were always cold for some strange reason. The room was nice and comfortable and just wish they had a recycling trash container to separate out trash.

Decent Stay Property is well maintained. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth. We got a two bedroom room. Room was nice and clean. Bed and pillow are comfortable. Room has an electric fireplace. Pool are ok. Breakfast food has a decent choices. Property is also walk in distance to grocery store and some place to eat which is pretty nice. We’ll stay here again.
