A good place with more potential to be better. A good place with well equipped rooms, very clean, great place for families with children, the water park is not that big but it's good enough and entertaining. Seeing some people with clothes in the pool and water park area is annoying and for sure it's not hygienic since they don't use proper swimming suits and enter the water with clothes _. I strongly suggest the management board to reconsider the water park dress code strictly. Paid parking is not an acceptable option but it's not bothering that much. Avoid being there on weekends, it is worth it to apply for two days leave and go there in the middle of the week.

Okay family stay Stayed 2 nights. Hotel is tired. We were in a junior suite. Room was cleanish, some trash had been missed - our four year old found an old and hairy gummy bear, a lid from a juice container and some other wrappers. Few stray hairs, stains of the curtains and bed frame nothing crazy….The front desk admitted they had a very busy week, lots of people were trying for early check in.. I’m empathetic, may have impacted the room. The bunkbed area had a small cutout to the main room and the area was taped sloppily to hold down peeling walls. But the biggest challenge in our stay was soundproofing, there seems to be little between the floor levels and to the hallway. At our son’s bedtime (admittedly early) we could clearly hear kids playing and jumping on the floor above us and in the hallway. Amenities are okay. Our son enjoyed the waterpark, arcade and playground. There were sufficient options that were within his age and ability. It’s well located and more affordable than staying closer to the falls. Recommend budgeting for breakfast - the food is adequate but didn’t seem to match the price point. Also opened later than I would think for a hotel with lots of littles (8am). Overall I’d say a positive stay but with some investment and attention to detail would choose over great wolf lodge (or similar) for people looking for a bit lower key family stay, especially with younger kids.

Terrible. Improperly booked in the middle of a school group We booked here for a family wedding and weekend getaway well in advance of the stay. The online pictures made it look spacious and beautiful but unfortunately the room and bathroom was very small and the grounds didn’t live up to the pictures. I would have been ok with this, but they booked us right in between multiple rooms booked for a teenagers school field trip. Kids and teenagers rooms down one side of the hall next to us and adult supervisors the other. It wasn’t just the kids not able to be controlled, playing ball, yelling and visiting in the halls until well past midnight despite talking to them and security being called. It was the adults that pulled room chairs into the hall visiting and drinking all night that kept all of us up and disturbed. I feel that the bookings could have been shifted to accommodate the group and perhaps put us at the end of the hall, not in the middle where adults and kids were repeatedly knocking on our door to visit and checkup on their friends. Multiple attempts to talk to the group directly, the front desk and call security did nothing. After complaining on check out, I was given less than 7% off our stay. Only stay here if you have the need to stay up all night with kids or just want to turn them loose in the water park.

Not cool man I went to Americana with my family and my We went with friends on Saturday this past weekend and we were there for 6 hours. After about 5 hours my oldest daughter started to feel very very ill. She said she couldn't breathe and needed to leave immediately. She went outside to get some fresh air and came back inside saying that she couldn't get better and she thought she might have to seek medical attention. We ended up leaving and she was afraid the rest of the night that she wasn't going to feel better. Fortunately enough, in the morning she woke up feeling fine but the employees should know how to properly distribute the chlorine so that the customers don't feel that feeling. Written by a 9 year old who needed to speak her peace. Posted by her father who supports her in every way. Poo poo bum bum. 2 stars

Fun for water-loving kids, terrible for sleeping We went to Americana as a family of 5, for Monday-Tuesday in May (not on a long weekend). We booked the Kiddie Junior Suite, and asked for a quiet room to avoid waterpark noise. Our room was on the third floor, at the end of the hallway. Hotel: • The room had plenty of space for kids to move around and play. • The bunkbeds were not separated by a wall like shown. • The bathroom was huge, but only had a very small shower. • The shower had black mold in it. • They don't provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. They have a soap pump on the shower wall that is an "all in one" soap, shampoo, conditioner. • The beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. They are firm, have no cushioning at all, and you can feel the springs. • The pillows are hard or lumpy with no support. • The room had a table with 4 chairs, two double beds, and a twin over twin bunkbeds. It also had a mini fridge, microwave, 3 sinks, coffee pot, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and two TVs. • The top bunk cannot see the TV in the kiddie nook. And the TV takes some tinkering to get it set up. • You can hear people going down the hallway as soon as they are off the elevator. Waterpark: • The waterpark wasn't busy at all, and sometimes we were the only people there. At most there were maybe 10 families. • The chlorine levels were not bothersome, and I'm quite sensitive to smells. • There are small and medium lockers available for $1 or $2. Once you open them you have to pay again, so you can't go back and forth to your locker. • The waterslides often alternated which was open, if any were open. The sign says they rotate every 20 minutes during non-peak times. • My 10 year old enjoyed the waterslides but they aren't the most exciting after a while. • The water levels and temperatures are in consistent. On Tuesday the water levels were higher than on Monday. • The higher water level wasn't ideal for the toddler pool because they couldn't sit in it and the slides were more underwater. The water was also cold in the kiddie pool on Tuesday. • The kiddie playground sprays water non-stop. So if kids don't like getting water in their face and dumped on them, they won't like the playground. • They had plenty of PDF'S starting at 30lbs, and they are less bulky that life jackets. If you need an infant PDF you will have to take your own. Overall the kids had fun. It wasn't our favourite place, but wasn't a dud either.
