Travelodge Fallsview Hotel (formerly Michaels Inn by the Falls)

Way above expectations.Excellent Had read reviews and was a bit uneasy. We found everything about this Hotel to be good. Brilliant location. On the WeGo bus route. Very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Pool and hot tub good. Lady serving breakfast could not have been more friendly and gave us a lot of information.

You get what you pay for You get what you pay for $$ Cons - out dated -washrooms disgusting -rugs disgusting - smells -very loud vent - no house keeping unless you ask -no 4K -buffet over priced and not worth it. -parking fee $$ Pros -location -pool Overall. Not returning again.

Weekend at Niagara After a horrible reservation at another hotel. We made a reservation here at travel lodge and it was completely different a 100 percent. We had a pleasant stay and are glad for your hospitality. We will definitely stay at this place in the future. Thanks

I highly Recommend I highly recommend this hotel, particularly for its excellent location. The rooms are currently undergoing renovations, which is a promising improvement. The staff is exceptional—attentive, responsive, and dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction. Any issues that arose were promptly addressed within minutes. While my stay was enjoyable overall, there are a few areas for improvement. The hotel does not have vending machines for essentials such as bottled water and soft drinks, which would be a convenient addition. Additionally, there is no microwave available anywhere in the hotel, and I would suggest placing at least one in a common area for guest use. The balconies, while a nice feature, could benefit from an upgrade, including the addition of a small table to place beverages while relaxing. Currently, they are furnished with only two chairs. Despite these minor drawbacks, my experience was very positive, and I would gladly stay here again. Wendy C. oh I loved the pillows.

UGLIEST HOTEL EVER! UGLIEST HOTEL EVER! No breakfast included! Extra charge per night for parking No daily housekeeping. No value for the money. We have 1 more night out of 4 to endure here! Lobby is deceiving - money is spent only on necessities. Whole hotel smells like a thrift store, probably because the carpets are not from this decade or last. Chairs, couches , tables in common areas look like they've came from garage sales. Our room - wallpaper (with border from the 1980s) peeling on walls. Closet door missing. Grandma's pink tile bathroom (probably original to the hotel). No chairs on the patio looking onto river & Horseshoe Falls. It was clean, but that's it. Didn't buy breakfast buffet because we didn't want to give them anymore money. Got clean towels and Kleenex when we asked for them. Staff friendly. Owner should be ashamed at not properly maintaining this hotel. Good reviews for this hotel likely fake. We booked through a third-party so we couldn't change hotels. DON'T STAY HERE!
