Only in pinch The rooms were ok. There is ample parking We were able to obtain Ubers very quickly no matter where we were looking to go. There is a shuttle that goes into the city, however we did not take it. It is quite run down dirty carpeting ,chunks out of the woodwork etc. do not count any free breakfast. You will get less than you got in the brown bag during the pandemic. They didn't have any fruit, any yogurt, any juice, they did have cold cereal provided you can tolerate whole milk as it was the only choice. Front desk was okay to me but was rather nasty to some other travelers. If you can't find a room, it is not horrible but definitely not worth that price.

Wouldn’t recommend Strong cleaner smell in the lobby, especially in the hallways. Keys to the door worked sometimes but not always, was a struggle. The breakfast was poor at best, boxed pastries and no protein, limited options. Room stank and sheets weren't clean. Shuttle experience was great though.

Managed very poorly and Nasty Place 1) Refused to let my family in the room I reserved for them till I got there, they drove to NYC from Buffalo NY and they had to stop at hotel to leave items so I would fit my suitcase because I was flying in and they had to pick me up. a) So, my granddaughter had to wait on the lobby with her 2-year-old twin boys. They then yelled at my granddaughter that her 2-year-old twin boy were too loud and would disturb the other people. Not child friendly b) I had called twice to make sure we had adjoining room and they said there is an extra fee of $45 to get adjoining room and I said OK. BUT when I got there, they said the rooms were not adjoining. I insisted we needed and wanted adjoining rooms and I had called to make sure fee or not. After I insisted, they did give us the adjoining room. 2) No heat in room 115. When we brought this up, they said you have to push the buttons real hard. But this did not work so no heat in this room for the whole week because they could not do anything for us. a) Toilet did not work right, very hard to flush. We were told to hold the handle longer. b) Mold in the bathtub 3) The Bathroom door in 113 locked and no one could find a key to open it. They finally opened it with a screwdriver, door was broken so they taped it so it would not lock at all. a) Dirty stained seat cushion. b) One bed was had a big dent in the middle and very lumpy which made it very hard to sleep in. 4) There was no TV all week, when I asked, they said they did not have cable so there is no TV. When I asked the Manager, she said that is not true it did not work because of ice and it would be on again soon but never was. 5) The coffee pods in the room were the wrong filters for the coffee pot and leaked all over the cupboard. I told the front desk about this and they said those are the ones they have. I tried to use them in the evening but they were never replaced. 6) We asked for ice and was told the ice machine did not work. Again, the manager said the ice machine on the 3rd floor worked but it did not. 7) They did not make the all the beds every day. The manager said if you leave anything on the beds, they will not make it. I left my PJs on the bed everyday and they made my bed but randomly did not make one of the beds. 8) Breakfast was supposed to be from 7 am to 9 pm they were late everyday setting up breakfast and was not able to get coffee till about 7:30. a) A couple of days you could tell by the taste they heated up the coffee from the day before. b) The Danish and cereal were stale. c) No protein

Quality Suites is NOT Quality I keep telling my friends that I'm going to call this review "Why Quality Suites is not Quality." It was not quality the moment I walked through the door. My flight landed around 11:45 because I had a business meeting to attend at 3. I understand that check in is at 3, trust me, I travel almost every other week. But I have never gotten to a hotel early and them just flat out been like, "What are you doing, check in isn't till 3." Normally they'll at least see if there's a room available to check in early, etc. I don't know how, in a city that close to NYC, they don't expect people to show up early. I was like....okay, that's fine, I get it. So I asked if they could store my luggage, since I couldn't check in. Again, I travel often, and this has never been a problem. They told me they could store my luggage...for twenty bucks a bag. I've stayed in the HEART OF TIMES SQUARE and never even had to do that, it's usually just tipping the bell hop. Still I was like....okay sure, whatever, I have a meeting and won't be carrying my luggage through NYC. So I went to pay him, and the guy tells me that I'm not allowed to use credit card because I'm not officially checked in so they can't trust that the charge will go through. Honestly at this point, I'm convinced that he just pocketed the cash for himself and did not want to have to report it either to his boss or the IRS. When I went to get my luggage that night, the guy that helped me was even shocked it was just sitting in the back office, nowhere safe or locked up. And that was just how it all started. The last night was equally awful, as we got into the room and it smelled like paint fumes. We looked and sure enough, they had completely painted our bath tub. Now mind you, it’s known that you are not supposed to sleep in a room that has been painted for 72 hours as the toxins are incredibly dangerous. It triggered a migraine for me, and I spent the entire night throwing up. My friend I was with went to complain to the front desk, pointing out that this was a hazard and a health code violation, and all they said was that this renovation has been planned for months and they offered to give us air fresheners. Now I’m not a hotel manager at all, but I am pretty certain it is ILLEGAL to put people in a room that you are also renovating. They completely taped up the tub faucet so we couldn’t use it because of the paint job, which meant we also had no access to a shower. Those were the big things, but that doesn’t include the fact that every single vending machine was either out of order or sold out. The television was broken and had pink streaks across every channel. Their breakfast only consisted of bread products (literally toast, bagels, waffles, and pastries – there were apples ONE DAY of my stay) which for those that are celiac/gluten intolerant they wouldn’t have been able to have any sort of meal. Basically, this place is completely falling apart on its ass and I’m surprised that it’s still running, especially with the shady business like I have mentioned in the beginning of my review. I’ll be reporting them to the BBB for literally endangering people and potential fraudulent money charges.

They Cancelled my reservation because i couldnt check in before 5 Terrible reservation experience. I booked this hotel directly through their site and booked a room for a work trip that night. Check-in time was 3pm as usual so there was no problem. The day of the reservation at 11 am i get a call from their front desk asking me when i was going to come to check in. I told them i will be in after work around 5-6pm. She proceeded to tell me that they couldnt keep the room unless i was there by 3 since i didnt pay up front. I responded no problem i'll pay over the phone now. She responded she cant do that and unless i can get there at 3 they will have to cancel my reservation. Which they did. I was floored. Luckily the hotel across the parking lot from them had space so i was able to get a last minute room there. I will never be booking at this quality suites again
