Great experience The ladies were so nice and I enjoyed my stay. Great customer service and rooms were excellent very spacious. Breakfast was amazing would definitely stay again. The experience was overall a 1 million stars! You will not disappointed. All the ladies were nice

Best Bang for your Buck! This is by far one of the Best stays we've had! I can't say enough about this Staybridge. Let's start with the staff.. Friendly, fun, helpful and cheerful. They all seemed to enjoy what they do, and it shows in the service they offer. Free breakfast everyday, and I mean GOOOOD breakfast!! Also Mon-Weds they do an evening social with yummy small appetizers to let people meet and greet. The room was beautiful!! It felt new like it was recently redone. The bathroom was a Great size and there was a bedroom separate from the kitchen living room space with 2 queen size beds. They have all the amenities you could hope for!! We can not wait to stay here again asap!!

Met Our Needs This hotel seems newer which has its pluses such as fresher carpeting and decor but the room footprint is small (eg, no space to store a suitcase, no night stands on both sides of beds). The hotel is also under a flight path which is noticeable to light sleepers. The breakfast lady is great! She did everything she could to keep the breakfast area well-stocked for a hungry crowd.

The staff are absolutely wonderful, the room not so much We stayed 3 nights while visiting Charleston in a 1 bedroom king suite. There’s plenty of parking and we found the hotel very quiet. The front desk staff are just lovely. A shout out to Deja and Latoya. The housekeeping staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was probably the best we’ve encountered - bacon, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, plus cereals, yogurt, pastries and a good selection of bread and bagels. Another morning there were some delicious smoked sausages. Our room, while spacious, seemed rather impersonal. Basic. There is a full sized refrigerator, a 2 burner cooktop and a few pots and pans for cooking. I found it strange there was cutlery and plates for 4 but only 3 mugs and 3 bowls. Broken by previous guests and not replaced? There is a dishwasher but only 1 packet of dishwasher soap. Didn’t feel like tracking down more. The A/C didn’t work very good. Kept turning off. We stayed comfortable by leaving the ceiling fan on in the bedroom. The worst part was the shower. No hot water!! Lukewarm at best. I booked this hotel because they advertise washer and dryer. But they’re not in the suite. They’re on the main floor through the fitness centre. It’s free for guests but this is no better than staying in a budget hotel where you have to pay. Our stay was ok but I’d stay closer to downtown Charleston if I was to return.

Maintence issues We had no hot water on Saturday morning and only lukewarm on Sunday for showers. Only trickling water for the bathroom sink. We had to turn off the refrigerator because it was so loud, We had to cut off the water to one of the toilets because it wouldn’t stop running. Staff was friendly but offered no option to what we were experiencing as the maintenance person wasn’t around on weekends. Guests waiting at checkout desk this morning as no one was there. Fifteen minutes in and still no one at the desk. We should have been offered a new room or discounted rate but no concern. We won’t stay here again. Poorly run and managed.
