Nice for the price. Basic hotel room, with kitchenette. Utensils kept at office, presumably to prevent losses. Room was quite clean, fairly up to date. Hot water slow to start, but plentiful when up to speed. As an elder, wished there were grab bars in bathtub. Don't need them yet, but nice to know they COULD be available. Ventilation system works flawlessly, keeps room cool in summer, assuredly warm in winter. Bed was way too soft and mushy. Like sleeping in jello. Like the recliner chair. Very comfortable. Kitchen is nice, being with diet restrictions, I can eat responsibly, when needed. Note that grocery is walkable. Shopping mall nearby, as well as public mass transit. Many fine dining choices nearby, freestanding, or at mall.

Solo trip for IX Center convention I stayed for a convention at the IX Center. You get what you pay for. People basically live at this hotel. There was a cat running through the halls, dogs barking at doors, etc. If you have pet allergies, be aware. The room was mostly clean, though there is a "stale" smell. Everything worked as expected. There is a sign up that says there will be daily room inspections. I assume it's meant for the folks staying long-term as I never had anyone enter my room or ask to... at least while I was there. I did have someone knock on my door and run upstairs. I could hear the upstairs occupants at all times. Doors open shutting all night in the hallways. Staff was nice and helpful when needed. Never felt unsafe but definitely stayed alert. Would I stay again? Probably but not if I could afford a step up.

Never Again. If I could give a Zero, I would. I only wish I had read the earlier reviews. We experienced all the negative issues documented by others that clearly have not been addressed by management. Started with the strong smell of marijuana as we entered the room. I went to the front desk and asked to be moved. They said they were completely booked and come back in the morning. In the morning they said they couldn’t tell if they would have another room until much later in the day. Ultimately stayed in that room for 4 nights with the bad smell and dirty bathroom. Also surprised a room with a kitchenette didn’t come with dishes or silverware. Had to ask for a set and she wasn’t sure they had any because other guests were using them. One night we had to park in the back and the back door was broken and would not open. We had to walk through a wooded area to get to the front and it made my wife very uncomfortable. The breakfast was only weak coffee and a muffin Al in all it was probably the worst hotel stay we have ever had and I am 65 years old.

Trashy...beyond understanding! Oh my was I staying in the ghetto? Long term guest not exactly upstanding citizens. Found drug gummies in our room. Floors dirty shoes stuck. No toilet paper...all laundry facilities broken not usable. Trash left from previous guest. Hotel employee sleeping at 4pm had to wake up to check in. Even though there is a full kitchen no utensils or anything to cook with or eat on. No ice machines...vending out of order.

You get what you pay for. The old saying of you get what you pay for is the best way to describe this place. Ghetto. Very dirty and the smell is awful. In order to get new towels you have to bring yours downstairs. The “breakfast” is drip coffee, and muffins. The desk staff was rude but helpful. Definitely understaffed. Grass has not been mowed in a long time.
