Summer stay The hotel was easy to find, even if it is no longer a Holiday Inn. The rooms was very clean, the shower did not have a shower but the lady at the desk fixed that problem in less than 8 minutes. The halls are kept way too cold. The pool was closed which I already knew. The building and parking lots were clean and well lighted. All in all I was very satisfied with my stay. The ice machine on my floor was broken.

Clean but disappointed The room was very clean the outside parking lot not so much what was very disappointing was the fact that the pool that was advertised was closed why not sure it was an indoor pool but was empty also breakfast was advertised but the cook failed to show up on time every morning I was there part of the reason I picked this hotel was for the breakfast that I never got to enjoy I never saw a manager so was unable to even complain about it will definitely take that into consideration next time we am in the area to work

Better than I expected from the reviews The bathroom was very clean, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a king bed room, but got two beds instead, one of which was so saggy in the middle we just used it for our suitcases. The other bed was OK. The booking said that a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and breakfast would be included. We got half of that - no microwave, no breakfast. The main annoyance was the bathroom fan that was extraordinarily loud, beyond reasonable. The other annoyance was the ice machines on all the floors were not working and we had to go to the front desk for ice.

Quaint Was put here by travel agent for business trip. Not a lot to do in this area so mostly stayed at hotel. Read on website before visiting to see what amenities were avaliable. A gym and pool are on the main floor. Did not get to use either. Pool was shut down and ran out of time for gym. Restaurant on site but didn't use. Room on 3rd floor was nice and clean. My room was also on street side with a lot of traffic noise throughout night. I would suggest this hotel for a business trip or a one night stay.

Breakfast Service Needs Help The room was great. Clean and no issues other than lack of available plugs. I come prepared for that with a device I can plug in and it supports 5 USB devices for charging. Front Desk staff were great and management allowed use of the dining room for us to have a pizza party . The restaurant no longer is open for dinner. However, there are references to the restaurant and dinner all over the place. Elevators, the Hotel Information folder in the room had a significant section on the now closed restaurant. The restaurant is still mentioned on the website . Restaurant still does breakfast, and here is the issue with this hotel. For the month of April 2019 IHG.COM website stated that there was a special breakfast deal going on. Basically, $1 Breakfast Buffet. We had stayed here in 2017 and the Breakfast Buffet was very good. This time around, our three breakfasts there was no buffet set up. Because of the fiasco on morning three, we skipped it all together is went to McDonald’s, so maybe they did it that day. My thinking is this was False Advertising. Morning three there was a large breakfast crowd and we were attending a funeral at 10:30 AM. We arrived for breakfast at 8:45 and quickly ordered. The group attending the funeral did not all arrive at 8:45, so this was not a case of being bombarded all at once. Our drinks were just water. At least two couples arrived and ordered around 9:15-9:30. Their food came, they ate, were gone and we still didn’t even have our water. My wife asked three times for our water. Our sons arrived, ended up going to Hardee’s and bring their breakfast back. They were basically done and we still didn’t have our food or water. Our food arrived after 10, no water. My wife went to our room to get water we had in the fridge. Her sister still didn’t get her food at this time and when she asked about was told they were out of the wraps she had ordered. She wasn’t told this at 8:45 when she ordered. Our funeral had to be pushed back ½ hour due to breakfast issues. I only saw one waitress and I think there was only one cook. They were simply overwhelmed and couldn’t handle the crowd. The waitress had served us the previous two mornings and was really nice, so I felt sorry for her. This is a management problem; they were not properly staffed to handle the volume. If the waitress is part of management, then she is partly to blame. Management knows how many people are staying each night and most will use the hotel for breakfast. Most people staying in a hotel have an agenda and do not have time to spend over an hour on breakfast.
