Nice stay This hotel is very conveniently located. The facilities and rooms are nice and seem recently remodeled. Room was clean except the bathroom which had several areas around tub features which were moldy. Housekeeping needs to check “under” features and use Clorox to disinfect. Otherwise it was a good stay option

Broke AC. No options to accommodate; not even a fan! NEGATIVE STARS if I could! We started to notice no change in temp, so the maintenance person changed out the clogged filters and said the compressor was busted. All rooms were occupied to transfer and they couldn't even provide a fan. Worst sleep ever. Not recommend.

There are better choices Our first, and probably last, stay at this property. Did early check in via Bonvoy app (Gold member) so went to the desk to pick up room keys. The attendant gave us keys to another guests room (they had the same last name), which we discovered when we opened the room door. Surprise! Back to front desk where we were told that guest was accidentally checked in under our reservation. Took quite a while but finally we were given another room and credit card charge was corrected. Six other guests were now waiting to check in and although manager was consulted about our situation he/she never came out to assist the front desk attendant or speak with us. Common areas are old and tired looking, in great need of renovation. Room furnishings were quite worn but the room was clean.

The desk staff was very accommodating Courtyard by Marriott in Ocala was a convenient place to bed down after seven hours on the road from the Atlanta area. Located right off I-75 at Route 200, it provided peace and quiet as well as the typical amenities of this brand, including gym, outdoor pool and business center. It also offered a free breakfast including cereal, fruit and fruit juice, coffee and tea, bagels and pastries with condiments. We had requested restaurant suggestions from the front desk and they gladly accommodated us with a myriad of choices which included national brands as well as local options. We ate at the Royal Orchid if you are into authentic Thai food. We would definitely stay here again. However, make reservations in advance as this is “horse country” and there are a multitude of events from shows to sales and the area hotels tend to be booked solid.

Very disappointed for a Marriott property We stayed here as a quick layover and I will preface this by saying it was going into Easter week. The staff was very shorthanded as it is everywhere right now, but one person at the desk with four people in line is ridiculous. We got to our room after being given the wrong parking area to park our car, and there was trash all around the entrance and the trashcan was completely overflowing. Right next to the elevator was a blanket and a water bottle laying on the floor which was still there the next day. The hallways smelled of weed so someone clearly was smoking it it their room. But the worst thing was the bug that crawled up our wall as we were falling asleep, after killing it I just tried to tell myself it wasn’t a cockroach and fell quickly asleep just so we could get out of there early. I am very disappointed in this hotel for being a Marriott property which we pretty much stay at exclusively.
