Awesome OC Vacation Journey the front desk clerk is exceptional. She is professional, friendly and knows how to properly treat customers. Hotel could be updated, fresh paint, a/c was falling apart in room, I had to Pop it back in place, curtains were dirty, toilet seat should had been replaced , loose, and chipped on seat.Hot Breakfast is amazing and dining area is clean. Our family enjoyed our stay because the hotel was quiet, we slept well in comfortable beds and definitely because Journey went out of her way to keep customers pleased. Thanks for a great vacation from home. That's why 5 stars. Ms. Pat

Rude Management The hotel is on the boardwalk - like A LOT of other hotels. The hallways had very dim lighting, we had to go down three separate hallways to actually find our room. The room itself felt like a cave. The beds were very uncomfortable. The breakfast, a joke - disorganized. No one from the hotel assisting. Better off going to Dunkin Donuts. Look at the tons of other options before this hotel. I shared my feedback with Comfort Inn and got a very rude response from a GM, Chris Greenwood. So as a customer beware of this review and look at the other options. They won’t ask you the “the why did u feel this way” or “what can we do to improve” just slam what u have to say. Customer beware.

Do not stay here horrible experience! Under no circumstances book this property! I can/t emphasize this enough and please do not be fooled by some of the reviews. There is one other review that is honest, and I should have heeded their warning. I booked this hotel through Expedia, and it stated that the hotel was on oceanfront hotel. When I got to the property after driving hours to get there, I was greeted by what seemed like a nice young lady and also saw a man eating at a table which seemed to be the guest area and I thought he was a guest. I then attempt to check in and ask the female what kind of room I have if it is an oceanfront room. She then says to me that I actually didn't book with that property I booked in another building! I then ask what she means by that, and she points to a building behind and off to the right of their building not far away but still not part of the main hotel! I was taken aback because "I" didn't book anything I simply booked the Comfort Inn oceanfront hotel as listed on Expedia's website. I explain that to her and she calls over the male who was sitting down eating whom to my surprise is the manager!! His name is Frank. I then wonder why a manager is sitting and eating food in a guest area! Very unprofessional. This fact then becomes by the by when Frank starts to speak. So, Frank then starts to argue with me that it states on the website that there are two properties and I said it actually doesn't. and he proceeds to go to the computer to the Expedia website to prove me wrong. I explain again that it's not stated anywhere that there are two separate properties and that it is misleading and that perhaps it is an error on Expedia's end as it is listed on Expedia's website. He continues to diligently look on the website to prove me wrong. Instead of being apologetic or trying to offer an alternative. He then shows me a picture of a building from one of the pictures on Expedia's listing of the Comfort Inn oceanfront hotel and says that from that picture I should've deduced that there are two separate buildings. I then say that that proves nothing and that all of the pictures and the description of the hotel state it is oceanfront, and that breakfast is included, and all the amenities are there etc. and mentions nothing of a separate building. He then becomes argumentative and rude and starts going back and forth with me. I was there with my elderly mother and my son, and we had just driven hours and I arrive there and am confronted with this rude and aggressive manager Frank. He made us all feel extremely uncomfortable. I then say I don't want to stay here because of the way I'm being treated but really have no choice because it was already late at night, so I figured I'd stay that night and try to find somewhere else the next day. He then says he doesn't want me to stay there and was going to charge me a night anyway!! I was seriously taken aback. I was calm the whole time and Frank was belligerent. I then say I want all my money back and he states he'll refund me, but I have to call Expedia which was uncomfortable because I had to stand there and try to contact Expedia with this belligerent beast Frank huffing and puffing around me. Also, while all this is happening the young girl at the desk isn't saying anything and she is eating at the front desk too which is unprofessional. She appeared nice but did not assist at all in the matter and was not apologetic either unless she was afraid of Frank because she knows he is irrational. I finally contact Expedia and they call Frank, and he tells them that "I was argumentative"! which is a lie, and he also admits to them that I was right that it doesn't state on the website that there are two separate buildings, however, despite this fact he still behaves in a disgusting manner. It was a horrible, uncomfortable and nerve-wracking experience. Frank is a terrible person. He was rude, threatening and deranged, I couldn't believe the whole thing. He has no interpersonal skills and should not be the front end of any business let alone a hotel! He had no customer service skills and acted like he was bickering with a girlfriend or family member. This ruined the whole vacation I had planned. Extremely unprofessional. Stay away from this place.

Can't wait to return! I have no complaints about this hotel! This was the first time I stayed at a boardwalk hotel. Loved the location! Was there the week before Memorial Day, so it wasn't crowded. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning. All the staff I encountered were very helpful and friendly. Shout out to Jeremy! The beds were comfortable, the shower was great. My cousin and I liked it so much that we booked the same week for next year already!

Great Staff, Right on Boardwalk! Just had a GREAT early Spring beach ⛱️ trip with the family at this Choice Comfort Inn! Clean rooms, right on boardwalk, and very helpful staff. Special shout out to Frank, Jeremy, Chris and Ray for their hospitality, dining recommendations, etc. Would come here again and I highly recommend.
