Lovely Hotel & Accommodating Front Desk! Had a nice one night stay here in early May. I requested a room near the stairwell, my gf is hesitant of elevators. They accommodated our request without hesitation. The check in process was extremely easy and quick, the young lady who checked us in was very friendly. The room (320) was clean and very modern. They have done an excellent job remodeling the bathrooms. I will def. be back! Thanks Again!

Clean bigger high ceiling room It is Comfort suites , so the room is bigger than usual Comfort inn. I like the high ceiling. Hotel is clean. Breakfast just like any other same level hotels. Got good price because we went on February. The location is not in front of the broadwalk, but it's okay because it is near restaurants.

BED BUGS!!! DO NOT STAY! Unfortunately, I woke up with bites all over my arms and chest. I pulled back the covers and found bed bugs. I did get a full refund for my stay, but the pain and discomfort from these bites are excruciating. Additionally, the noise coming from other guests at 1:30am and 5am was insane. It sounded like the doors on one of the rooms was going to be busted down, not sure if guest was on drugs or what but very scary and my family and I didn’t feel safe.

Very spacious rooms, across from outlets Room itself is very spacious, comfortable bed & pillows, beautiful updated bathroom with nice backspace tile. Only negative was smell from entering room itself. Nice front desk staff. Breakfast pretty good with waffles to make. Outlets directly across the street, as well as grocery store, gas stations and eateries all within minutes. Ocean City & the ocean in 5 minutes.

ALIVE ROACH IN ROOM! Found an ALIVE COCKROACH inside our room at 10PM at night on our first night there. My boyfriend, myself and our small 6lb dog stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The very first night we find a roach in our room and the front desk staff were unable to do anything about it other than offer to give us a can of "pet-safe" pesticide to spray our room which I declined as we have a SMALL DOG staying with us who has severe allergies and although a product may be marketed as pet safe that is ONLY IF DIRECTIONS ARE FOLLOWED CAREFULLY. Management was not on the premise that night and they were at capacity and unable to switch our rooms so we were forced to stay in the same room as the ROACHES. We moved all our luggage into the car that night and slept with the lights on although I did not do any sleeping that night. The next morning I went to the front desk to speak with management about the situation and to ask them how they are going to handle this ROACH PROBLEM. The solution was to offer us a 20% discount ONLY on the FIRST NIGHT and to switch our rooms as soon as one became available. I was shocked and appalled and asked to receive a 100% off our first night since we had to SLEEP IN A ROACH ROOM but Front Management had to contact the GENERAL MANAGER to receive approval which he did approve. HOWEVER that is not my biggest problem with this hotel. My biggest concern was there is NO WRITTEN POLICY on how the hotel is suppose to handle ROACH INFESTATIONS. The Front Desk Manager said that "there is no written policy" and it's only verbal instructions to the housekeeping staff. Well no wonder this place has ROACHES. If a business does not have policy in place to ensure that rooms are kept in safe sanitary conditions then OF COURSE you will get pests. ROACHES are large pests so I can only imagine what kind of grossness was missed on a smaller scale. Oh and if you are curious as to what the verbal policy is...its to send a team of housecleaners to bag all linens in plastic and to spray the room with pesticide and to RENT THE ROOM THE SAME DAY TO ANOTHER PAYING CUSTOMER. Apparently calling a professional exterminator is NOT POLICY. Oh and the free breakfast? Why would you ever eat food at a hotel that has ROACHES on the same floor as the breakfast area. I even called Choice Hotels to report this hotel since I was dissatisfied with the hotels solution and treatment of guests and was informed that Choice Hotels is a franchised hotel chain which means they cannot enforce or regulate their hotels since they are privately owned. So even cooperate cannot regulate these hotel chains. I will not be staying at one of CHOICE HOTELS OR this hotel ever again.
