A reservation from Florida a month in advance paid and cancelled without notice 11:35pm is frustrating I know that hotels have their policies and it's not new to me but canceling the reservation of a family who had problems on their flight from East to West without prior notice is unacceptable even though I left them know that I would be late and having problems

Lots of problems with this place. I stayed here only because it was close to a friend's house who didn't know any better. Checking in was very easy. The person behind the desk was quick to check me in. Upon entering my room I was overwhelmed by the smell of Pine-Sol. WOW!!!! It did go away after being in the room for a while, but O.M.G. Like other reviews I agree with the fact that some updating needs to be done. There were marks on the door from scratches from either laundry carts or suitcases banging into them. A little paint would have fixed that. When you get into the room, you can tell they've moved furniture around because you can see the marks on the wallpaper from where the bed was originally placed. The bathroom has the same problem with the racks on the wall having been moved and the original marks and holes in the wallpaper. The flooring (tile) in the room has gaps in it. My biggest problem is the doors in the little pass through heading to Room 112. The doors have writing on them that says about keeping the doors closed. Almost every time I would go through those doors to come and go from my room they were open. The one door leads behind the hotel where I'm thinking the housekeeping personnel are going to take the laundry carts. There doesn't seem to be a reason for guests to be back there. When I would go through, I would close the doors behind me. I informed the front desk personnel upon checkout that this has been going on. They didn't seem too upset about this when I reminded them that it is a security risk to have those doors open. I observed front desk people telling people how to make a waffle. Maybe they can go check on those doors and let people fend for themselves when it comes to making a waffle. Somehow those doors have to be closed. It is a definite safety risk. If something happens to someone because of the hotel's lack of safety, they have been put on notice and it won't go well for the hotel. I checked out on Sunday, March 10th. You can ask your morning front desk staff about what I told them about safety. As far as breakfast, it would have been nice to maybe have something besides waffles and yogurt. I know an earlier post said something about eggs, but not in March of 2024. Overall, I went on somebody else's word. Not again for this place.

Lots of problems but they're all easily fixable if management chooses to fix them. Lots of problems in this place, but every problem on this list is easily fixable if they wanted to fix them. They should Pay attention to this list and fix as many of these issues as they can ASAP. Sheets had holes. No toast or bagel or any bread at breakfast. Just waffles, apples, yogurt and kids cereal ... nothing else, not even tap water. Only drink was high sugar OJ that was fake. Furniture was over size for the space, was supposed to have a pull out sofa but only had a futon. Was advertised as a non smoking property, but people were smoking all over, right outside my window, near the lobby, from balconies. It should only be advertised as a non-smoking property if the entire property is non-smoking even the outdoor areas. The Wi-Fi was poor never got above 3mb. I get 960 at home. Not enough trash cans. Bed was way too hard. Mini pillows like only 8 by 14 inches. Fridge was small dorm type. Very strong chemical smell when we checked in. No free bonus for gold level like other choice properties. Parking was very hard, two nights just had to parallel park on the side of the driveway because that was all that was left No EV charger, had to charge down the street a mile. I interacted with many staff members and the only one that was good was the lady who served breakfast All the rest seemed grumpy. The location is pretty easy to get to from freeway.

Desperate Need of a Renovation I’ll start with the pros: the staff that we did encounter were very nice and the location is by a bunch of shopping and dining. Now let’s get the the cons, this place is in desperate need of a renovation. There was damage all over our room and what they did fix was poorly done. You can tell they’re doing the bare minimum of what they need to keep the place open. Rooms and decor are probably 20 years out of date at this point. The few upgrades they have done are haphazard and not done well. As others mentioned, parking is somewhat limited at night but we were lucky to find a spot. I definitely won’t stay here again.
