Good hotel nearby to Provo, clean I stayed at this hotel on a business trip to Provo. I got upgraded to a really large suite given my status with IHG. I did not receive any welcome amenity for having status. The room and bathroom were clean, but did feel a bit dated. The bed was comfortable, though, and the sheets were clean and crisp. I didn’t eat much at the hotel, but did grab a few items and buffet was standard for the chain’s offering. I went running in the morning, and lost my hotel key, and the front desk kindly replaced it without making a hassle. The hotels location is nothing remarkable, just off the highway and right next to an office park. I did see that there were signs for the commuter rail line to Salt Lake City nearby, so potentially you could walk there from the hotel if one wanted.

Overnight guest Fine hotel. Front desk person nice but not really into it. Most disappointing was what's usually a decent breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were not heated and the oatmeal, while being made, was luke warm at best. Perhaps I got there too early - 6:45A. The hotel is dated - but it's fine for a night. Was an $18 LYFT from the Provo airport.

Friendliest Front Desk The front desk personnel at any time of day were all friendly, helpful, considerate. They assisted with the recovery of my delayed bag from the SLC airport as well as every question we had. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Family wanted shower water a bit warmer but it was ok for me. The hotel is well located close to many Amenities and UVU. Breakfast was good and ladies staffing were very helpful. I hope IHG will give a face lift to this HI - worn carpet and damaged bathroom door definitely need replacing. We are a family from Texas- so this not a fake review!

Wonderful Experience at HI Express Absolutely wonderful The rooms were clean, front desk was super helpful, great location right off the freeway. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Super close to UVU and BYU. Any food place just up the road. What isn’t there to like.

So much better than the Comfort Inn on University Pkwy in Orem. I have recently been staying at the Comfort Inn on University Pkwy when in Orem on business. Last time I stayed there the TV did not work (could not turn it off) and the room and bathroom was in poor repair, so I decided to stay somewhere else this last week. I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express and I am glad I did as it was much nicer. Room was comfortable, clean and in good condition. Staff was friendly.
