Decent stay but lots of cons Needed a place to stay for a Disney vacation and always had great experiences with doubletree. I stayed for a total of 5 nights during the first week of May and it was decent. However, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this location if you’re not there for work related business. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and attentive. However, I feel like the cons outweigh the benefits of staying there, especially if you’re looking to stay for longer than a couple days. First and the biggest complaint that I have with the location: PRICES!!! The prices here are asinine. They require a $50 deposit per day + $30 per day for parking. Like I mentioned before, I stayed for a total of 5 nights so the total cost just to stay there was $250 for the deposit and $159.75 for parking (they charge parking tax for some reason too??). Granted, you get the money back from the deposit if you don’t leave a mess (which we didn’t), but for someone coming in for vacation, I was hoping to spend that money for the trip ): Second issue that I had was there wasn’t a microwave in the room. We were trying to save money by bringing homemade food and popcorn for our vacation but there wasn’t a microwave provided so we didn’t have that option, unfortunately. Third issue that we had was that the bath towels were super coarse and not soft at all. This isn’t much of a concern but as someone who paid a lot of money to stay, I’m picky about the little things. Forth issue that we had was the location. It was nice to be right in the middle of downtown Orlando. However, the location made it hard to navigate since the roads there can be confusing if you’re out of state and not used to the Orlando traffic. Also, the noise at night was awful. The walls are very thin so you can hear EVERYTHING happening outside, whether that be traffic or your neighbors having an argument at 3 in the morning ((((: Overall, the stay was decent and the environment was clean, but I really don’t think I’ll be staying at this location in the future.

This Aint Beverly Hills!!! This hotel is not my ministry, House on Haunted Hill! Not to sound elitist, but this isn't my station in life. When I travel, I like to stay better than where I live, and this hotel isn't It! _ this whole hotel gives a sleezy vibe like home up central and it's needs a remodel. I feel Punk’d _ I want my money back!

don't stay here They should hire more housekeeping so they can do better quality work. I heard the housemen treat the housekeeping like animals. Quality does not depend on cleanliness and attention alone!! The quality of the home has to start from the deepest part of its staff and better organization
