Great location and pool Great location. Awesome pool, hot tub, pool sizes, view, looks like new deck stones that don't hurt your feet, wel manicured grounds, friendly staff. Room size fine ( tower 9 th floor), tv, beds fine. Only downside is the shower fixtures a little older and some selfish people smoked weed first night... totally smelled in hallway near elevator. Maids constantly cleaning so mostly gone by end of day two. Parking fees too high and unnecessary ( just give guests a code). Would stay here again if can be in a tower riom, nit the motel type rooms. Pool and (5-8 min walk to DS) location are the big draws.

One of my absolute favorite hotels. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from Disney Springs, and features convenient valet parking. Guests can enjoy a lovely pool area with two pools, a jacuzzi, and a splash pad for children. The Oasis Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, and from my room on the 17th floor, I had stunning views of both Disney Springs and Epcot, where I even caught glimpses of the fireworks. This hotel has quickly become one of my favorites in Orlando.

Serious Bed Bug Incident Mishandled by Management — Would Not Recommend BED BUGS IN THE ROOMS! I stayed at the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista in Orlando, FL for 8 nights while attending a professional conference. Unfortunately, my experience took a dramatic turn on the 6th night when I discovered a live bed bug in my room. I immediately reported it to the front desk. Security and housekeeping came up and confirmed it was, indeed, a live bed bug. My room was then blocked off for inspection, and I was allowed to move rooms with just enough clothing for the next day. The following day, I was informed that the inspector found two additional bed bugs in the headboard. I was shocked, concerned, and suddenly facing the overwhelming possibility of bringing bed bugs back to my home — a very serious issue for anyone, let alone a mother of six living in rural Alaska where pest treatment resources are extremely limited. When I tried to speak with management about compensation and assistance — even just to get my tennis shoes for a planned outing that evening — the response I received was deeply disappointing. I was told the hotel would only refund the original card used for the room, which was not mine. I explained that I could not access those funds since the accommodations had been paid for on my behalf. I also explained that I had purchased a new suitcase filled with clothes for my six children, which now all needed to be treated. The manager said the only reimbursement they could offer was $4 for the laundry machines. After a confirmed bed bug infestation, I was understandably uncomfortable using any in-house laundry facilities. I still have not unpacked my belongings in fear of bringing bugs into my home. I shared that the situation was now preventing me from attending parts of my $1500 conference, and from enjoying the few vacation activities I had planned. Instead, I was consumed with the logistics and fear of bringing pests home to my family. I expressed that if I couldn’t get help directly, I might have to share my experience publicly through social media or the news — which I believe is my right to do. Shockingly, the manager accused me that telling her I’m going to social media is threatening her, and warned that I would be trespassed if I said it again. Going to social media (and saying I will do so) is not a threat. To make matters worse, she then called who she believed to be my boss — while I was still in the middle of dealing with this — and told them I was threatening her and that they were needed at the front desk. When my colleague arrived, I calmly explained what I had actually said and emphasized that I simply want to share my own experience. My colleague agrees that’s not a threat. I also asked the manager if I could record our conversation and acknowledged Florida’s two-party consent laws — I asked for her consent, which she refused, but this clearly was not a secretive or hostile request. Her reaction was unprofessional, and her willingness to involve my employer was completely inappropriate. It felt like an attempt to intimidate me or jeopardize my employment — all while I was exhausted, and in the middle of a very real health and safety crisis. Throughout this, I repeatedly expressed that I was deeply worried about the safety implications of having slept in a bed bug-infested bed. This was completely disregarded. The hotel’s response showed a shocking lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism. If you’re considering staying here — especially with children, or for business travel — I urge you to reconsider. The staff may be friendly at the front desk, but if you encounter any real issues, especially something as serious as bed bugs, management will not have your back. This experience has left me emotionally distressed and financially impacted — all because I trusted this hotel for what should have been a safe, comfortable, and professional stay. This has been an overwhelmingly awful situation and threats to be trespassed from a hotel because they would not try to resolve the bed bug issue is something I would never have imagined to be reality.

HORRIBLE Experience The lady that checked me in was not friendly at all. When I made the reservation over 1 month ago l had requested a room with the view to Disney Springs. The lady that checked me in said that all she had available was a pool view. I do not have a view of the pool, I have a view of the roof of the bulding next to my hotel and a view of the corner of the pool to the left. This hotel is not cheap for the type of service & view that I got from the room, because they charge hidden fees when you check in as well. I will NEVER be staying here again.
