Quality Inn Oxford Anniston I-20

Rude and nasty! We booked this motel in January, 2022 for the race at Taladega in October, 2022, 4 of us, three rooms, 2 handicapped. Called 4 different times trying to verify 2 ground floor rooms because they don't have an elevator. Each time I was put off and told they would take care of it when we arrived. I called when we were 1 hour away and again told that they would see what they could do. Arrived and was told that only one ground floor room was available. Told them I needed 2 and his response was "we are very busy and full up, there is nothing I can do for you". I told them my husband couldn't walk up stairs and that is why I have been trying to get a verification over the phone. His response was sorry we are busy. I asked to speak to the owner and he said he could not call and bother him for something like this. This man was very rude and nasty but amazingly enough, when I told him if my husband fell down the stairs I would call my lawyer, 3 ground floor rooms became available (after arguing with me for at least 45 min)! Earlier he was trying to sell me an extra room for $280. Sounds like he was trying to pocket some extra cash...wonder if the owner knows what is going on??? I will never go back to this roach infested motel again!

Just No! I recently worked as a front desk clerk at another Choice Hotel right around the corner from this location so I had high expectations. To see this hotel on the opposite end of the spectrum in regards to quality was just a letdown. I understand that Covid health guidelines are different for every hotel and maybe they aren’t all cleaning as thoroughly as they usually do but this was unacceptable. I had a home emergency and needed someplace for my son and me to sleep and this hotel was the only hotel that allowed early morning check-in. The front desk clerk was kind and that the only decent thing about this hotel. The room smelled like mildew and stale cigarettes, the floor had trash on it that I had to go buy a small broom to sweep because I was tired of my small dog finding it. The sheets weren’t fresh and there was a filthy face towel folded on the shelf and not to mention mildew stains on the wall and the vending machine options were awful. I would’ve left but couldn’t afford to throw away $120 dollars. I was so disgusted. Do better!

Awful This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed. It is beyond filthy. There were bugs everywhere outside and inside. Towels and wash clothes were brown. Just plain nasty. Maids came and cleaned and stole some of my things. Assistant Manager had a terrible attitude about everything. Staff is very rude and incompetent.

Dirty, disgusting mess. This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed at. So bad we checked out and moved to a different hotel. Mold growing in the bathroom, poorly cleaned. The fridge had gasket was covered in black mold and the freeze was completly frozen into a solid block. The shampoo bottle had already been used. Cigarette burns in the bed sheet. The door was a mess as if you were working on a car and then wiped your dirty hands on the door. The ceiling light and vent were covered in dust, rust, and mildew. The shower head was covered in white build up with mildew growing in it. The work are of the lobby desk wasnt much better. For some reason the bathroom sink and counter are 4 ft high, higher than a normal kitchen or bathroom counter.

Remodel Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay there again. Close to restaurants. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. They want me to type 200 characters, but I don't have anything else to say. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxox0
