Couple nights stay at Ozark Inn and Suites, Ozark Arkansas We ended up staying at this hotel for a couple days in Ozark Arkansas because our engine of our car went out while traveling on vacation and we stayed one day to get it towed to a mechanic to look at and stayed a second day to try to figure out getting a rental vehicle to continue our trip. This hotel is a very affordable but very basic hotel. Was pretty comfortable but had a very small bathroom with showers no bathtub. Had a small coffeemaker and microwave and fridge isn't far away from a grocery store or a couple of restaurants but is in a smalltown. Air conditioning wasn't greatest and was some outside noise could hear from the room and some stray cats around the parking lot outside also. Pillows were a bit flat but the bed was ok. They gave us extra towels after our first day but didn't clean the room till we vacated the property after the second day. Giving it 3 stars as we had kind of an emergency situation. There is pretty much no public transportation in this town its a very small town and the husband had to pay for a very expensive taxi ride to try to get 45 min away to an airport to pick up a rental car because our car broke down and we now were without a vehicle and then come bk to pick up the family after could get that picked up. It took a little bit him getting there and picking up the car so we needed a later checkout and they were able to do that to a point but not extend the late checkout for really very long on the day we were to check out and my husband still wasn't bk yet with the car and one of my daughters had crutches and they wanted us to vacate the room and wait in the lobby till he got there which was very warm and a very small lobby. They should make some kinda exceptions in cases of things like car trouble and such which you have no control over cuz they had a very small lobby with no bathrooms in it and a few of us had to use a bathroom but had to wait till my husband finally arrived with a rental car. This hotel is ok for a short stay and in our situation were thankful it was there available in the town we broke down in but is a very basic place and would only recommend it for short stays and wasn't the absolute cheapest either for a basic hotel but for short stay was alright. But worked alright for the time we were there till could get a rental car and get going on our way. Would overall say it isn't a bad place but is a pretty basic place.

Sufficient for a night It seemed like things were clean. The bedding was sufficient. The bad: it smelled like a combination of old cigarette smoke, pot, and cleaning chemicals. Also, the coffee pot boiled the water and only squeezed a cup of coffee out while leaking the rest of the hot water down the side of the coffee maker.

Filthy room; good bed We stayed in room 115. Aside from the king bed being very comfortable, and the young man at the desk being friendly, this was an awful room. There was such an awful odor that I had to go buy an odor eliminator spray just to tolerate the stench of mold (air/heat unit) and urine (bathroom). The coffee was beyond disgusting; we couldn't drink it. The floors were so very filthy that when I got in bed, the bottoms of my feet were black. I would not opt to stay here again.

Barely acceptable Pros: Quiet atmosphere, comfortable bed, everything in the room seemed to work as it should. The lady who checked us in was friendly. There's a great donut shop about a mile to the east. Easy on the budget for those who just need to stop and sleep. All single-story, no possibility of getting a loud person in a room above. I love that the windows could be opened, but... Cons: Our windows did not latch and there was no bar or stick preventing someone from opening the windows from the outside, should they be so inclined. At around 8:30 PM, I had to stand outside in the cold to checkin. On booking.com I reserved 1 smoking room and 1 non-smoking room. All of the doors had no smoking signs on them so I went back to the checkin and she asked if I wanted a smoking room. I said, "yes" and she said, "OK, your room is smoking." That works great for me, but if the next traveler in that room smells smoke, they will probably not appreciate it. The floor was sticky. I did not walk around in the room without shoes at all. I did not see any signs that the sheets had not been washed but there was a previous tenant's keycard next to the TV and a used shampoo packet in the little basket with the soap. "Sketchy" is my one-word impression of this place.
