Nice place!! This place is much better than the other options around. The rooms were nice, large, lots of light very clean and smoke free. I would stay here again. The only think I didn’t understand was there no coffee pots in room, other than that a great place. Love the little court yards!!!

Only if you must We stayed on NYE to avoid a late drive home and specifically chose it bc it had a parking garage which we needed. Know that there are only about 12 spots in the garage and they’re smaller than compact. Also it’s not secure so anyone could walk in and steal or vandalize your car. Several small cars couldn’t fit and straddled the line which left even fewer spots. We ended up having to park at a friends house and Uber back and forth. Room was fine. Not deplorable. Not good. Just fine. Except for many large stains on carpet which were disconcerting. Wish we had just gone home.

Beware. The Hotel is under construction and the views are not as pictured. We booked this hotel for a 4 night stay after Christmas and before New Years. All that was available at the time of booking was a "Partial Ocean View Room" (which in our case was room 102). They are building a new "wing" onto the Oceanfront side of the hotel which obstructs the view of all but two of the "partial ocean view rooms". The website hasn't been updated to reflect this. Moreover, the rooms 101, 102, 103, 201, 202 and 203 are all about 20 feet from the Rockaway Beach access drive and less than 100 feet from Highway 1 (which is quite busy). So not only was the view obstructed, but you couldn't hear the ocean over the highway noise. We politely complained that "Partial Oceanview" meant "a sliver of a beach view" and they were apologetic and moved us the third day of our stay free-of-extra-charge to an ocean view room (206). I should point out that you are really looking over the back parking lot of the Sea Breeze Hotel which is an old, 1 story hotel that is actually adjacent to the beach. But the new room did have a mostly clear view of the ocean and the surf was our sleep-sound machine instead of the highway. Except the one night where the surf was so heavy it was pounding cars in the Nicks/Seabreeze parking lot and setting off car alarms ;-) There are quite a few shops and restaurants in the area. Nicks being the one restaurant we went to twice ('cause it was that good despite it's being a bit pricey). Another nice feature of this hotel's location is that there are paved walking trails that ride the cliffs up and down and wind along with beautiful ocean views to the south toward Linda Mar, and inland of the taller cliffs when headed North. It's about a mile walk to Starbucks to the south and a little less to P-Town Coffee to the north. The hotel was clean, rooms were in good working order. Breakfast is provided. It was fine, though not exceptional BUT the first morning the juice machine was on the fritz, and the half pint of milk that I tried to drink from the carton was sour and curdled. Blecch. We had no trouble parking in the deck under the rooms, but the parking spaces are pretty tiny. The property is building quite a lot more parking and adding 45 more rooms - mostly to the highway side of things. 6 to 8 new "ocean front" rooms are being added. The website indicated that they expected to end construction in December, 2019, but, well that's clearly not happening! My guess is that the earliest they can complete is March, 2020. We didn't hear much construction noise even though there was activity. We were boxed in by two large pick-up trucks that were parking in the deck beneath the hotel. In short, the hotel was decent, we could see and hear the surf from our room, much of interest was an easy, short walk and staff (Vinay and Lisa) were friendly and helpful. We would go again, but it's not our highest rated "Oceanfront Property".

Nice clean hotel, very comfortable beds I found the room clean, comfortable and easily accessible. I stayed a late night coming from a friends house. I checkee in at 12:30am, i was told i could checkout 12p. Room was quiet, clean and bed was Very comfortable. Shower was nice as well. I think the price was reasonable for what was offered.

Comfortable hotel on the beach I have stayed at this hotel several times and always enjoy my stay. The location at the beach is perfect for enjoying the beach and walking/hiking the trail along the beach. It is located next to a couple of excellent restaurants and a short drive from more places to eat. The breakfast provided at the hotel includes eggs, sausage and pancakes as well as the usual pastries, fruit and yogurt. An addition is being built but we were not bothered by noise from the construction.
