Great Stay Very clean and very nice staff!!! Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant and courteous. (Front desk, housekeeping and the maintenance man we shared the elevator with) Covid protocol was quite acceptable. Partition between quests and staff is acceptable. My husband is a disable veteran and cannot wear a mask. Everyone was nice and didn’t make us feel unwelcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!!

Not clean! Cleanliness is needed at this hotel, the toilet had a lot of urine and pubic hair on the seat upon arrival. I spoke to the head of housekeeping and management and showed them a photo. The head of housekeeping said the lady that cleaned our room was new, manager said he would be giving us Bonvoy points for the issue, but they were never added. They definitely dropped the ball. We booked two rooms there. We will not stay there again!

Not my first choice Stayed here only one night. Location is convenient to the interstate. Bed comfortable. None of the front desk, housekeeping, or maintenance personnel that I saw wore masks. The area behind nightstand and corner of the bed had not been vacuumed. Appeared to be popcorn kernels on floor at the head of the bed and possible nail clippings. Fridge had not been wiped out. Pool area closed because of Covid and breakfast was to go. Not sure why that was in play when staff did not bother to mask and the rooms were not thoroughly cleaned. Definitely not up to the standards at other Fairfield Inns I stayed at in the past 2 weeks. I don’t plan to stay here again.

Poor Covid protocols!!! I wish we would've read the previous TripAdvisor review before booking our stay. We are Titanium lifetime elite with Marriott and we trusted that the Marriott brand was taking Covid and the necessary safety and cleaning standards very seriously - as they advertise. However, this does not appear to be the case. We checked in at midnight and there were signs at the entrance, by the elevators, etc indicating masks are required in public spaces. The man working at the front desk when we checked in was masked and we didn't see anyone else due to the time. However when we were leaving, the cleaning person on our floor was unmasked in the hallway a few doors down from us and there were guests on our floor and in the lobby also without masks. We intended to complain to the front desk/ management about this, but unfortunately the Asst Mgr, Tina, was working at the front desk and she was also not wearing a mask!! I asked her why she wasn't wearing a mask and her response was that she had been wearing one earlier but she took it off because she got hot (this was at 830 in the morning). She also said she is behind the partition and she's not sick, so it's fine. However, the "partition" is two separate pieces of plexiglass in front of the computers for check in. It was not one full piece separating the front desk from the rest of the lobby and she was not just standing directly behind the partition. She was walking around behind the front desk and throughout the lobby, all the while unmasked. WOW! We were completely shocked to have this experience a year into a global pandemic! At a Marriott property!! Obviously the mask requirement is not going to be enforced at this property if management doesn't even feel compelled to follow the rules. I called corporate to express my concern and was told that the cleaning protocols are standard but the person I spoke with was not sure if the mask requirements were brand standard or up to the individual properties. I'm supposed to get an answer to that in 3 to 5 days. I assumed that all Covid cleaning and safety protocols would be standard, regardless of state mandates. Couldn't be more disappointed in Marriott!

Poor Covid Practices & Lousy Breakfast This is the fifth Marriott property we stayed at during a 3.5 week trip and it did the poorest job of adhering to Marriott's stated processes for dealing with Covid. Compared to the other places there were few signs about masks, elevator capacity, etc. The rooms had many items in it that other Marriott properties removed (pens, brochures, etc.) And worse the staff for the most part did not wear masks. Our upgraded room would have seemed like an upgrade if it wasn't like a cave (room 212) - it faces the back of the entrance facade. So we were looking at a wall. On top of that when we opened the window for some fresh air it was immediately above the smoking area outside. Phew! The room was larger than the standard Fairfield room and was nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. So at least that was a plus. I know that the breakfast service has been cut way back for Covid purposes and I am good with that but again this Fairfield was my far the worse. They claimed they were slammed this weekend but I think the owner of this property is a cheapskate. There was barely anything for the front desk to handout. Other Fairfields actually had staff hand out/prepare hot items. Not here - they didn't really try very hard to have some sort of breakfast like others Fairfields. Overall a real disappointment.
