No. No. No. Just nope. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BOOK HERE. No. No. No. Just nope. You know that mushy potato in the pantry that is starting to sprout and smell just a little funky? That is the (not so) Quality Inn. I should have been forewarned when the two front desk attendants were chattering incessantly in Hindi(?) while all but ignoring the growing line of customers. Then finally admitted in broken English that the room I had booked was not available. "Two queen beds is acceptable instead?" No it is not. You should definitely know that this two level hotel DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR! Good luck getting up and down the steep concrete and metal stairs if you are traveling with more than a backpack. The ice machine was out of order. No problem. It's only 110º outside. It's probably 95º in the public areas and hallways of the hotel! And never dipped below about 76-78º in the room irrespective of the AC setting. Overall the facility is dirty and run down. I made the mistake of checking under the bed for a misplaced item at one point. I'm confident the carpet under that bed hasn't seen a vacuum since Bill Clinton was in office. The ONLY bright spot in this visit was the nice view from the (filthy, stained, concrete) balcony. That is of course if you're one of the fortunate 50% of guests with a lakeside room. Not lakeside? Expect to have a car parked 3 feet from your "patio" door. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Unquaulity inn Unquaulity inn! What a rundown hotel. The carpets were filthy, our room looked out onto the car park. We had booked a view!!!! Our room was dark and dingy, we had a disabled room which we did not ask for, the bathroom was old fashioned and had an old plastic bath chair in it. Our telephone in our room did not work, we were told they were all broken!!! The pool had broken tiles and had seen better days. The men’s restrooms were filthy one of the cubical was missing a door. Quite possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in.

Avoid this place if going to Antelope Canyons This is the worst hotel experience of my life and I have travelled and stayed at many other 2 & 3 star rated hotels. First of all, I have nothing negative to say about the staff. They are doing a good job with the limited resources they are given. This is an ownership greed and Quality Inn franchise management issue. We stayed in the second building off the main one. From the moment we entered, it smelled really bad all night. This is an old building and the common areas were run down with ripped carpets, peeling paint and stains everywhere. The room was in better shape but still smelly, the beds were not comfortable, the carpets appeared dirty and the toilet flush took a long time to refill and we didn't even want to shower in the bathroom. The breakfast checks the items on the list but was nothing to write about, nothing special. I would not recommend this place, there are much nicer and newer places in the same price range close by.

Wow so bad! Possibly the worst hotel I have every stayed in and not cheaper than much much better options nearby. I don't know what is going on at this place but it is literally falling part. It's crazy because it is in such a great location. It's right next to the golf course and on a hill with a really great view. Unfortunately not many other good things about it. 1) We were on the first floor and in the hallway is a monstrous water stain on the ceiling tile and down the wall. Replace the tile and paint the wall maybe? 2) One of our bed frames was completely busted. 2 legs bent to the ground and the frame is broken at one the crossbars. So, the entire bed moved around like it was some kind feature in a carnival funhouse and the bed was completely slanted. The only good thing is that the maintenance guy came almost immediately to replace and fix it. Nobody noticed this while cleaning the room? 3) During the bed replacement. I helped them move the box springs and the mattress. We found 2 beer bottle caps, ear plugs, and a wad of hair underneath the box springs. The floor felt gritty like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. 4) One of the lampshades next to the bed looked like it had been run over in the parking lot. Uhhhh, maybe replace that? 5) The shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom were half used. 6) The cabinet next to the bed had a thick layer of dust on it. I cleaned it myself so that I could put pillows that I didn't want there. 7) The toilet took 30 minutes to fill the tank. 8) The dry wall in the bathroom was poorly patched so that you could obviously see where there used to be large holes 9) There was a weather strip in the door frame to the hallway which apparently was coming off and was held back on with a poorly applied chunk of packing tape, which protruded outside the door frame. You would think they would at least use scissors to trim it. A generally horrible ugly solution anyways. 10) The door to the hallway had a 2 inch gap between it and floor which made me very uncomfortable. I put my suitcase there for the night. 11) The sliding glass door to the parking lot apparently had its wheels break many years ago because opening and closing it sounded like dragging a metal crate across a gravel road. All of the rooms in the hotel had this problem so you could hear people grinding their doors open and closed all evening. 12) The landscape is dying. 13) The dining room has this weird red tint on the windows. I'm not sure what that's all about. This place was so bad I almost felt like asking for a vacuum cleaner so I could help out. Good things? 1) AC worked well 2) No bugs (surprisingly) 3) Shower worked well 4) Maintenance people were super nice and seemed very much overworked. They didn't speak any English so it was a good thing I spoke Spanish. 5) I kind of like the weird retro layout of the rooms with the slanted doorway entries. I don't care about things being old school or old style. Sometimes that is good, but things have to be maintained! How can this owner be so cheap and charge is over $150 a night when brand new properties nearby cost the same. I just don't get it. This place should be $60 a night with its level of disrepair. Amazingly their were entire buses of Japanese tourists arriving when we where there. How embarrassing for America.

Dangerous experience I was trapped in the bathroom because of a broken doorknob. Shortly after checking in, I used our room's bathroom. When tryin to leave, I discovered that the bathroom doorknob was jammed and would not unlatch. I was trapped in the tiny bathroom with no escape. After minutes of trying to release the latch, we finally succeeded. It took both my adult daughter on the outside of the door plus myself on the inside forcing the knob until it finally released. If my daughter had not been there, I would have been stuck with no-one to look for help at the front desk. I likely would have had to wait for housekeeping to arrive the next day. When I reported the problem at the front desk, the manager was "too busy" to see me. They would not refund the room fee even though I had been in the room for less than 30 minutes, and the dangerous condition was obviously the fault of the hotel.
