Hell hole! Horrible place. Who is the worst hotel ever been in. First of all they were over priced secondly when you walk in the place smells awful like the carpets never been shampooed, the rooms were very Stinky with stench. In my room alone, there was bugs crawling up and down the wall. People in other rooms on the same floor had dogs in there and they were barking and whimpering all night long without being told to be quiet. People were in the adjoining room drinking yelling screaming carrying on. There are no lamps in the rooms. All the furniture looks like it’s been had a down from a goodwill store somewhere in town. An absolute horrible experience of two days of nothing but filth. There are no coffee makers in the rooms they don’t offer coffee or pastries in the morning you have to walk down the road to McDonald’s if you want something it’s just a horrible horrible experience to even think about sleeping there. I’m afraid to ask for my money back, I might get stabbed by the personnel.

The Owners Should Be Embarrassed This property doesn't meet Red Roof's usual standards. We have stayed at Red Roof Inn all over the country and this one is by far the worst we have seen. A customer's first impression comes from the cleanliness and amenities in the lobby and in the halllways of the property. My husband's comment after we registered was, " I hope the room is better because, if not, this place is a dump." The hallways weren't better than the lobby. And, although the room was cleaner, it wasn't to the standards we have come to expect from a Red Roof Property. The only good thing we can say is the price was more than reasonable. If price is your most important priority, this motel will fill that criteria. Otherwise, you might want to look elsewhere if you can.

DO NOT STAY HERE We walked into our room only to find it literally covered in trash, beer bottles everywhere, the toilet filled with feces, etc. absolutely disgusting. The smell of smoke in the rooms and halls is terrible. Like, burn your eyes terrible. No masks are required in the “hotel” as well, so do with that information as you will. I have a video of the room, but am not sure how to post it.

Minus 5 stars. Horrible Hotel Red Roof Inn in Palmdale/ Lancaster is THE WORST... Minus 5 STAR RATING. The receptionist, a young girl is rude and confrontational. I booked 4 nights because we are shooting night for the rest of the week. When I checked in before work, she asked for my credit card and charged all 4 nights. I said isn't it normal that I PAY when I checked out? She was pissed and said something to fight back. Then I said in that case, print 2 copies of my receipts so I can turn in to the production get reimbursed. She said NOPE.. SHE CAN ONLY PRINT ONE RECEIPT. IF I NEED IT, SHE CAN EMAIL ME A COPY. I said ok, email me a copy. SHE SAID NOPE.. ONLY THERE ARE SECOND PERSON IN THIS DEAL THAT SHE SEND A COPY TO THAT PERSON.....SHE WON'T SEND ME A COPY. At this point, I was very furious..WT#? Then she point out a note at the counter. NEED TO PAY $60 CASH FOR DEPOSIT... CASH ONLY.. NO CREDIT CARD. I said I don't have $60 cash on me. Only credit card... SHE REFUSE GIVE ME THE KEY !! WT# ??? I was so pissed so I said THEN LET'S CANCELED IT. AND SHE SAID OK. CANCELED IT. I'M SURE SHE WILL BE USING MY CREDIT CARD CHARGE ME CANCELATION FEE... BUT I WILL DISPUTE PAYMENT AND LET MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY DEAL WITH THEM.

I should have trusted all the reviews, This place needs to be re-inspected by the City and Red Roof Inc. I thought Red Roof great It would be a very nice place to stay the night! What a mistake it was to stay as when I finally check in the key did not work and went back to the desk and fixed key only to find when I opened the door the room had been smoked in did ask for another room but said there were none I wonder as this is a big hotel with 2 floors and not a lot of cars did notice lot of suspicious guests there. Also my room was not in very good shape noticed round hole in the shower about 1 inch hopefully there was not a camera in there also electrical outlet covers missing and so much filth around the A/C unit along with the outside everywhere broken screen, a old vacuum cleaner and the trash bins around the property were over flowing and then some . Also there was pounding and banging going on till 9:30PM in some other room . Then in the morning there were dogs dogs running loose in the hall and barking for about 30 minutes. Then some guest outside got in his car and blasted his radio for about 20 minutes at 6AM . Early staff was not the most friendly person as i tried to check in at 1:30PM but said to come back and did not try but afternoon girl was nice but still think she could have found me another room. that had not been smoked in.
