CATFISH: HOTEL EDITION CATFISH: HOTEL EDITION I hate writing bad reviews, especially as a non-problematic person that just asks for the bare minimum to have a good time while on vacation. It's a shame because the one and only good thing about Seahaven Beach Hotel is its location right on the beach and close proximity to everything to see and do while at PCB. Now that the sole positive point is out of the way, I can tell you about the reality of staying here. My niece joined us for the first time ever on vacation and I am embarrassed due to my choice of where we stayed for our 4-day getaway...but I had no idea! I didn't get to read the reviews because I admit I was drawn in by the beautiful photos Seahven advertised online, and all of it was a LIE! I was catfished, along with many others now that I see their reviews too now. Please see all of the pictures I took during my stay this past pre-4th of July weekend '24. Hotel staff gave us the wrong room. We were supposed to have a KING SUITE. We had to gather up our things and move now. Upon entering, my face just went blank. I was mortified and saddened that this place would be our home for the next 4 days. Everything in the room was disgusting and obviously had not been maintained nor cleaned in a long time. None of us dared to take off our shoes the entire stay. The "white" couch showcased in every catfishy promo picture was the worst thing in the room. You have to see pictures for that. There were bloodstains and pure nastiness all over. My kids couldn't sleep on it and threw the stained cushions to the floor. The bathroom lock didn't work so for our party of 6 sharing 1 bathroom that didn't lock, we had to announce each time that someone was in there. The pictures online also make it look like the rooms were sectioned off with privacy. We thought we were getting a king suite with our room having a door. NO! The entire room is open floor plan with 1 bathroom and 2 towels for 6 people. We asked for 6 more towels. The king bed sounded like it was going to fall apart any moment. The squeaking metal with every turn was unbearable. If you get up in the middle of the night, everyone will know (listen to attached video for bed squeaking)...We found live roaches, a beetle, a caterpillar, and on the morning of check-out, a maggot or worm of some sort lowered itself from the ceiling to be right above my head. I couldn't wait to check out. I thought I was in luck that there was a manager on duty and assumed he would be helpful. I have never met a person in charge that was so rude! I calmly and nicely pulled out my phone to try to give him a visual of what my issue was with my stay there. Before I even finished reaching into my purse for my phone, he cut me off and rudely announced "I don't need to see pictures. Just tell me what the problem is." He cut me off every time I tried to talk if it wasn't an answer to his questions like room number, etc...He then instructed his employee to give me 1 night off. I was livid inside! Still, I calmly asked "just one night?" I explained that we were given the wrong room to begin with and had so many issues in our final room but had nowhere else to go on such a busy weekend with no vacancy at the last minute like that. He answered "that's all I'm gonna do." I have to now reach out to Orbitz and see if they can do anything further. I am very upset and extremely disappointed. Nastiest place I've ever stayed in my life! Remember, these photos are from our final room, which is supposed to be the "king suite." If a king suite looks like this, imagine what lower priced rooms look like.

Unsafe - not worth the low amount you pay Cockroaches were all over our things within a few hours of checking in. They moved us to another room where the bed on the pullout couch wouldn’t go all the way in and outlet covers were missing, presenting an electrical hazard. My husband had to kick the pull out bed down for us to use the couch. Leaks in the ceiling and broken shelves, the back door didn’t close all the way and you can hear neighbors all night. Police had to come because there was a safety issue where parents were keeping children in the lobby. Perry, the manager on duty when we checked out, was rude and wouldn’t work with us on fixing the situation. Beach location is nice but the building should be remodeled and taken over by new management.

Disgusting The absolute worst place I ever stayed. Roaches all over the place, dirty toilet, smelled bad. So we left found much nicer accommodations next door for cheaper.

Run don't walk This place is a dump. I mean there was garbage in the hallways, bugs in the room, non-working TV remotes, light switches, lamps, no balcony furniture at all in the penthouse (lol) room 701. Way overpriced, no parking, desk staff was horrible, Security was a joke, refused to do his job, can't believe they treat guest the way they do, and security refused to have parking violators removed, told guest if you don't like it leave!! So I did, left 1/2 way thru the stay. Complaining to the bbb it was so bad. don't waste your money on this place, slept better in my car!

Not worth the money Purchased a 2 room suite 135 roaches everywhere alive and dead pull out mattress was broke, dirty. We were moved to 131 after a interaction with a very disinterested front desk employee same thing less beds was used tissue placed on top of the new roll and trash left from previous use. Then moved to 121 also dirty with a leak water all over the floor. Then to 308 had to purchase another room out of pocket 212 the air stopped working after 4 hrs of finally getting settled. Wouldn’t give out towels. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had .
