The level this hotel goes to, to make you feel special is amazing. We have stayed at this hotel twice once in 2019 and then again this August. To be honest this has to be my favourite AccorHotel. The effort by the staff in making you feel welcome and special is nothing short of exceptional. Prior to arriving, I informed them of my wife and I celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary coming back to this hotel where we spent a 15 year anniversary and were greeted by balloons rose petals and even a platter in the room none of which was asked for this was simply done as a goodwill gesture on their behalf. The hotel is 15m on a tram from the centre of Paris and in an area that has huge parks with outdoor eating. Great area if you don’t mind the very short trip in the the centre. We ate out in the local area which was lovely and very French, no catering for tourist which was great as we always like to find authentic restaurants and we did! I want to thank all the staff at this hotel for again going above and beyond. You are a credit to your company (you all need a pay rise) and I cannot wait to return.

Very basic hotel that should be rated three stars. Spending 60 to 80 nights a year in Accor hotels and being an All loyalty member, I can compare hotels. Ibis, Adagio, Novotel, Pullman and Sofitel usually don't differ much in quality whereveryou go. Mercure does have more independent properties that differ a lot. The Mercure Porte de Pantin is definitely more of an Ibis than of a Novotel, although the desk is from wood instead of plastic. For €108 a night outside the Paris centre zone, I had expected more. Only one of the elevators was working and there was a notice on it that this would continue throughout the month of May. The room (414) is one of the smallest I have ever been in, smaller than in an average Ibis. For the first time in a least 50 stays, not counting Ibis, because they don't have different room types, my loyalty status didn't get me upgraded to a privileged room or even a superior one. And a classic room in this hotel really is basic. The floor if the room was not clean. When I came out of the bathroom and wanted to get on my socks, I noticed long hairs and dust on my soles, although I had just showered. And having to pick a piece of used chewing gum from the carpet didn't make me happy either. If you sit down on the toiletseat, your knees are against the wall. The showerhead disperses water left and right and could not be raised because an attachment was broken, but not to the middle where my body was. The sink of the washing basin was clogged and the water didn't get away. Still, with two more night to go. I will score this hotel as (barely) passable. The bed is comfortable and that is important for a good nights sleep. I did get a voucher for a free drink ant the bar that has decent beers on draught. The staff is acting in a professional manner and speaks decent English. And although this hotel is not in the centre, it is close to a metrostop (Houche) with a good connection to the city centre. The neighbourhood is very rough and multicultural, but this doesn't bother me. So, there are some positive points as well.

Stay was good but the location is really not it...... Good stay, location of the property is really dead around and the breakfast is always the same. Stayed there 4 nights but nothing changed in the breakfast. Cooperative and helpful staff, but language is a huge barrier. Would recommend friends to look for better properties even if they are slightly higher priced

It's a dump. It's a dump. It is hard to describe how awful this place is. Is it this difficult to have a clean room and a nice bed. Whoever gave this hotel 4 stars is mad. The description of this hotel says that rooms have been updated. Maybe in 1985! - The rooms are small and cramped. - As others have noted, the carpets are filthy and threadbare. - The walls haven't been painted in years. - You had better check your bed for critters. - The towels and bed linens are clean but very worn. I was with a rugby group, so we drank and stayed out of our rooms. A note about the area. It's generally safe, walk outside and people are selling cigarettes and stolen goods. We spoke to some French friends and they told us that the area is a real mixed bag and a very strange place for a tourist hotel.

HORRIBLE!!!! Disgusting !!! Do better, it’s 2023. Your staff sucks. It smells. The walls are dirty. The carpets are dirty. Your showers look filthy. The AC DOES NOT WORK. This is crazy. Horrendous. Even the remote control is dusty. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.
