Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile

disappointment.. I came for a 4-day business conference and made a complaint on the net, because by booking several months in advance directly via the Hyatt website, I had not benefited from the advantageous rate and conditions offered to other conference-goers (15% lower price and breakfast included). A manager contacted my wife (I was personally working all day) to explain that my request was not legitimate and that he would probably be unable to do anything. Nothing was done, apart from trying to reach me in the middle of a conference. What's more, I had the unpleasant experience of coming home after a day's work to a room that hadn't been cleaned. I am therefore writing to express my disappointment that the service and welcome are not up to the standard of a top-of-the-range establishment and is detrimental to France's image.

Best breakfast and great location Our stay was arranged by Viking for 50 couples before taking our river cruise. The staff was friendly, organized and the accommodations were excellent. I must emphasize that the buffet breakfast is the VERY BEST I’ve ever had in all my travels. I would recommend this location with multiple restaurants and great access to all the sites in Paris.

The Hyatt Regency Ètoile is a wonderful hotel! The Hyatt Regency Ètoile in Paris is an A+ Hotel based on modern, clean rooms, top floor dining, a great breakfast buffet and its nearness (3 minutes) to the Metro and the Arc Triomf. A bonus on the one side is a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. We have stayed in some classic Paris hotels and totally prefer the Hyatt Ètoile. Highly Recommended!

Good place to stay for short stays The hotel is very well located, with many restaurants within walking distance. The food at the hotel's restaurant in good but the way waiters/waitresses split their service is a bit odd. You do not know who is your waiter/waitress as they do not get a clear allocation of tables. This contributes for a less than optimal service. The rooms are very clean and the hotek has a very decent and well maintained gym, which is important for me. The rooms are a bit small for an extended stay but the staff is in general very helpful and willing to provide a good service.

Another Great Visit to HR Etoile Our second visit to the HR Etoile was even better than our first. My wife and I spent eight nights in a Regency Suite immediately after the Paris Olympics ended. We had a great stay and an excellent trip. Lisa with the VIP Team helped us with the SUA and was so helpful getting us set up for our stay and ensuring everything was perfect throughout our trip. Our suite was on the Club Level right next to the Club Lounge kitchen...we could hear the staff working get started in the morning through the wall. The location of the suite also put us by the housekeeping carts and other staff traffic. We were happy to be in a suite and wouldn't complain about the location but it is worth noting. The one-bedroom suite was a great home for our trip. Park and city views provided lots of gazing. The bathroom was standard HR size...no bathtub. A very comfortable suite with enough room for the two of us. Housekeeping came daily...everything was very clean and fresh. We enjoyed the Club Lounge for breakfast and evening "snack". Max in the CL was very helpful and made sure that we were comfortable and had plenty to eat and drink. Soft drinks, beer and juices are available throughout the day with wines available in the evening. Breakfast was a full spread of hot and cold with a large selection of breads and pastries. During the day there were sweets and iced tea available...very tasty. The evening buffet was a few different finger sandwiches as well as a couple finger foods and a salad station. The menu varied slightly each evening...it was easy for us to put together a dinner on the nights we didn't feel like going to a restaurant. The Club Lounge did get full...the lounge opens up into the Windo Bar with the space adjusting back and forth. A couple evenings the club lounge was so full we couldn't find a place to sit due to the crowd and moved along. The hotel is located near a few train and metro stations for easy travel in and around the city. We look forward to another visit to the Hyatt Regency Etoile. A busy property with a strong staff who worked to ensure we had a good stay...always appreciated.
