Nice location… but goes “downhill” from there We booked a Vista View room. The vista was quite literally 1/3 obstructed by the roof that jettisoned out into our balcony. Front desk told me that’s what they mean by Vista. I can’t get over that level of deceit to give this hotel any better rating than 1 star. Food was mediocre in general. From overcooked bacon and waffles to sharp bones in the pulled chicken. The stand out was the nachos. It was excellent. The transportation and gym staff are quite nice and probably the highlight kindest of the staff. The hotel has a great location but if that’s all it takes to simply be a good hotel then go for it. You’ll love it. If you expect more than you won’t find it here.

Outstanding Resort Wonderful staff, service, view, amenities, food and room. A higher end resort but worth it. I was always greeted with a "hello" and a smile and in most cases by my name.

Very nice overall, but ADA aspects lacking in room Sink to high for wheelchair bound. Lovely, huge shower has only two grab bars. Carpeting makes it incredibly difficult for anyone to move a wheelchair across

Our New Annual Summer Spot My family of 4 (Kids 8 & 4) just spent a week at the Montage in Deer Valley. We had heard great things from people who had visited in the Winter so we tried it out over the 4th of July. From the minute we pulled up to the valet, all the way till when the loaded our bags back into the car 6 days later, our experience was fantastic. Our room (empire suite) was spacious, beautifully decorated, and exactly what we needed for the same price as a standard hotel room in other ski towns in CO (Aspen & Vail). The property is massive but easy to navigate and it has something for everyone. From Bowling in the basement to Archery on the Grand Lawn, and the amazing outdoor pool, our kids had the best time. They never once felt unwelcome even though there was a conference going on during the first half of our stay. The people and the service are top notch and even on an incredibly busy weekend like the 4th, we felt well taken care of the service was excellent. I can’t say enough great things about our stay. We will definitely be coming back to the Montage next Summer and likely many summers after that.

Great spring getaway! Wonderful time at the montage. Planned to do many things in the surrounding area ( and could have) but the property was just so great stayed and explored!
