Not A Terribly Pleasant Experience I'm Afraid The rooms are musty and out of date, with stains on the carpet, sloppily spackled holes in the walls, the phone doesn't work, there's only ONE luggage cart (the other is being used by maintenance to move boxes around or something), impossible to read the wifi code (did someone write this with their FEET?), and your man Aaron at the front desk couldn't be any less helpful, or any more clear that he'd rather be anywhere else and that your concerns are of sub-zero interest to him.

Save yourself and your dog Never in my life will I stay here again. I’m an IGH member. I always use Holiday Inn Express. I have an ESA dog who goes everywhere with me. I needed a room for one night and rather than book online, called the local number to ask if they charge for “ESA DOGS” stating I have a letter. The woman told me no charge and I booked it as it is close to work. I arrived with my ESA DOG and two men were at desk. The very first question was “please confirm what I was told when I called before I check in - do you charge for ESA DOGS?” Two men said no charge and I proceeded. I notice they charged my card more than I was quoted and I asked, it was a refundable deposit. Fine, I was exhausted. He ran my card, gave me my keys, and I started to go to room. The second man (Aaron who calls himself a manager) stopped me and told me I needed to complete the form for my service dog. I said I don’t have a service dog, as I told reservations and now you both one minute ago, I have an ESA DOG. Aaron says “they don’t count” and I’ll be charged $30 additional dollars. I said no. You just checked me in and charged my card and NOTHING HAS CHANGED FROM A MINUTE AGO. He said ESA DOGS don’t count (wow) and I’ll be charged. I kindly asked to refund me so I can go to the hundreds of places that do not charge. Aaron told me I’d be charged a one night cancellation fee if I left. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? He said reservations doesn’t know their policy. I asked what his excuse was and all he could say was pay the $30 or the cancellation fee or he will call the police. So I emailed the “manager” Kylie that night. I didn’t sleep clearly. Couldn’t take my dog because of the intimidation of AARON who I feared. TV didn’t work and I couldn’t call due to AARON. SO I had a crappy room that stunk, no working TV, and no sleep. Kylie replied a week later stating her cameras showed her I wasn’t intimidated by this disgusting man Aaron. I wasn’t getting a refund and the charge sticks. Says NOTHING about the fact that they lied. I didn’t lie. I was crystal clear that I had an ESA DOG WITH LETTER and 3 employees don’t know what the hell they’re doing. Nothing about their error. Nothing. I won’t go back to IGH and this specific hotel is filled with people who clearly claim one thing to get you screwed into a charge using threats and intimidation. FYI if you still decide to go…LIE. Don’t say ESA and apparently you’re good but let me say, please just don’t go. This is the worst service I have ever had at any hotel chain. Also online says free breakfast. No breakfast. You have to pay separate for that. What a joke.

Bad experience By far the worst holiday inn I have stayed at. Bad customer service, no one was at the desk anytime I needed something. I had an early flight in and the guy didn’t even let me know when it was ready, The gym didn’t have ac. None of the water fountains worked. Breakfast wasn’t free, it was another floor of hotel. Just overall bad experience. They over hotel Felt dirty.

Would not want my enemy to stay here! I don’t even want to give this hotel a 1. DIRTY from the moment we walked in, should’ve left when we saw the lobby, and outdated. 3rd floor hallway dirty carpet, dirty walls, dogs barking at all hours and we were hit with a wall of Marijuana smell which seeped into our room (all rooms were marked non-smoking). When we called front desk staff to take care of the smell and barking, they were annoyed that we were bothering them and did nothing to fix the issues. Once in the room outdated again, the carpets were torn with huge holes, gross worn spots, horrible patch jobs with carpet that didn’t match, and once again dirty. The beds felt like they were from the 90’s, you could feel each spring. The windows were filthy, barely could see out. One positive is that the bathroom was clean, obviously the housekeeping staff is trying to do the best with what they’ve got.

Fine for a night but not longer Just an average hotel and room, fine for business travel but no free breakfast. Stayed with family and used points. Room was tight fit with 2 adults, 2 young kids. We were there just for a night and would not stay longer than that. Too much dark carpeting, dark wood trim, dim lighting in rooms and hallways was a bit dour. Breakfast in restaurant was slow and just OK. Many more options nearby for breakfast that are better and cheaper.
