Sales Manager Excellence Nicole East, the sales manager, is absolutely the sweetest and most kind hotel personnel I've ever had the pleasure of working with! She is thorough and so so kind. You can absolutely bet that your issue will be taken care of when it's in her hands. The Hampton Franchise is INCREDIBLY lucky to have her :)

Parking Charges The hotel itself is good, but charging $10 for parking and making you use an app to do so when no other hotels in the area charges makes no sense. We get an email a few days in advance that the hotel is being renovated, parking lot is less than half full and yet there is a security person in the parking lot at 9pm walking between cars and taking pictures of cars to give them a ticket. I have never seen such a poor decision as it pertains to customer service. How about discounting during a remodel. As a diamond member, I will never stay at this hotel again over a simple $10 charge. This gives the Hilton brand a bad name.

Did not meet my expectations Located a few miles south of town. We were there for the 4th of July event. The rooms were comfortable, but they allow pets to stay and one guests dog kept barking for several hours in the evening as the guests left it in their room while they left. The pool area was not very clean, and the hot tub was being renovated along with the decking, so there were no lounge chairs to sit on by the pool. The chairs were piled in an unsightly heap in one corner of the patio roped off area). We also used the pre-check in app which was OK. I noticed the Pride flags (from the previous month) were still in place at the front desk and lobby and suggested displaying 4th of July flags but they did not have any. I was offended by the lack of flags or banners for the national American holiday. Prior to this stay, we always booked Hampton Inn for our trips but I will need to reconsider future stays based on this hotel experience.

Beautiful property, but rooms are oddly designed This is a beautiful property in the heart of wine country. The rooms are newly renovated and comfortable. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Where the experience was not optimal was in the design of the room and the bathroom. First, when you walk into the KIng Studio Suite (an oversized king-bed room), you first see the desk and chair, almost as if it's a reception desk. You half expect a receptionist to greet you. When you're lying in bed, the light situated on the desk is directly in your line of sight while watching TV. The second thing you notice is that the sofa is positioned so that you cannot see the TV while sitting on it. Third, the full-length mirror is situated between the windows at the far end of the room, instead of near the bathroom. Fourth, in the bathroom, the toilet paper holder is positioned behind the toilet on the left side, so that all but the most flexible left-handers have to be, as someone else noted, contortionists to be able to pull the toilet paper off the roll. And fifth, the placement of the grab bar in the beautifuly curved shower stall makes the shower completely inaccessible to anyone who needs a bit of assistance entering and exiting the shower. The grab bar SHOULD be positioned right by the on/off control for the shower head where the entrance to the shower is. It's as if the room and bathroom were designed by someone who has never stayed in a hotel room before.

Closest Hotel to Justin Winery for Hilton Loyalists Date Arrived: Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 Date Checked Out: Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 Time Arrived: around 11:45pm Time Checked Out: around 11am Room Type: 1 King Bed Nonsmoking Room Number: 306 The hubby and I were meeting up some friends for the weekend in Paso Robles. Since I had to wait until he got off work, we arrived rather late. Ended up using the digital key thing thru the app. In the morning, I asked for a real key for the hubs since he doesn't have the app on his phone. We picked up some fast food on the way down, so basically just ate and slept. There was a table with enough room for all our food. (We get a fair amount of fast food for the two of us.) In the morning, I checked out the breakfast and grabbed some coffee. They had a decent spread - omelets, turkey sausage, hash browns, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal, hard boiled eggs, waffle station, etc. We had planned on going to Justin on Sunday, so I picked his hotel due to the proximity and my Hilton loyalty program. Used 60k points. Otherwise, I think that night was going for like $400 something. I am Diamond status, but wasn't upgraded or anything. Not sure if they would have upgraded me anyways, but we didn't check in with a person. Just thru the app and headed straight to the room with the digital key. Fine hotel if staying in Paso. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. What I expected for a Hampton Inn. Plus, the breakfast seemed a little better than other Hamptons I've been to.
