Could have been a little bit cleaner The staff was nice and helpful. The lobby must use some industrial strength air re freshener because it smelled like a gym. I had the first room off the lobby but wasn't able to smell it in the room which was good. The room was big for what I needed and came with a fridge, microwave and small sink. The AC worked well. My only complaint was that it could have been a little cleaner. There was a dead cockroach in the bathroom under the counter which was probably hard to see by the cleaning crew but still.. There were also a few other dead bugs I found and overall they could have done a better job cleaning. Overall it was an average stay.

Worst customer service - do NOT stay here This was the worst experience. Terrible customer service. Property not as advertised. Pool was not available. Said they would refund our money and they did not refund our money. What they said and advertised was not accurate. Will NEVER stay at this hotel or this chain of hotels again.

Not up to Holiday Inn standards AT ALL!!’ Not up to Holiday Inn standards. It’s outdated and desperately needs lots of repairs. Plus my room wasn’t vacuumed and there were hairs on the comforter and the sheets. AND, two of my towels had holes in them! That alone should tell you that they don’t value their customers. Let’s say something like the carpet stains gets overlooked……,for housekeeping to visibly see holes in towels and think “this is good enough….I’ll just fold it up and place it in the guest room anyway”. That is very telling!!!! There are several other hotels in the area. I would never recommend staying in this hotel. Just chose a different hotel.

Missing Hot Tub The site was typical Holiday Inn, clean but the bathroom needed attention. I selected this hotel because it listed and showed pictures of the indoor hot tub. When we arrived we found that while the signs are still up, it has been filled with concrete quite some time ago. To use the pool, everyone had to go to the front desk and ask for towels. The breakfast had excellent options.

Below HIE Standards A Holiday Inn Express is supposed to be better. First off, the HIE website says there's a hot tub, but no sir - it's capped with concrete. We discovered the hard way that the shower curtain was missing the "stop water" layer, so even when used properly (which we did), a TON of water poured onto the bathroom floor. A cricket came from somewhere and died in our room's entryway. You get the picture.
