Good choice Enjoyable Stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Everything was in working order. Nice tv and air conditioning worked well. The breakfast room was exceptionally organized and clean thanks to a young man named Angel. He was very attentive to keeping the tables clean and keeping the food area clean. He appears to be an excellent employee and deserves HONORABLE MENTION as the best impression of our breakfast experience. The waffles are good too! We would stay here again.

Lower tier Hampton A/C filter clogged. I ALWAYS check A/C filters if accessible). I cleaned it in shower. Showed desk clerk photos. Did not make a note nor apologize; said “oh” No internet on second floor. Radar icon indicates it’s on, but phone/ipad says “no internet connection.” Desk said “well, it sometimes goes out when it’s windy.” Got internet reception with one bar on cell service. Lavatory hand soap and lotion dispensers are TOO HIGH! Pumps are 64” from floor/27” above counter top Ice machine on second floor not working. Went to 3rd floor Top sheet was “short sheeted”; had to remake bed before sleeping. Bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Nice TV. Breakfast was standard fare. Will stay somewhere else next trip.

Crappy stay - Definitely didn’t nail it I’ve stayed at this Hampton years ago and it was fantastic. It must’ve been back when Hilton took some pride in their properties. Seems to be a standard for hotels these days to think cleaning every other day is at the convenience of the guest, when in reality, the point of being on vacation is to not have to make your bed, dump your own garbage, and reuse towels. This hotel was dirty & unkept and it’s probably due to a lack of consistent cleaning. When it’s cleaned, I’m doubting it’s being done to the level it should. There was smeared feces under the toilet bowl, the mirror in the bathroom had dried splatter marks (obvious it hadn’t been cleaned), the walls are gross with spots of who knows what, and when opening a drawer under the tv, a previous guest decided to clip their toenails and left them for us to find. We found them because the rooms aren’t being cleaned or inspected by a supervisor. It’s disgusting. I don’t even want to think about what we didn’t find. This hotel is in need of an upgrade. Glad to see renovations are in process or happening soon. In the meantime, if you stay in room 423, check for the toenails. Why didn’t I complain? There’s no point. Rarely is anything done about it, you’re treated like a “Karen”, because there’s zero customer service these days. To conclude, I overheard a gentleman ask for water in the breakfast area this morning. He was told there was water available in the workout room. This made us laugh. Are you serious?? Would it have hurt to give him a bottle of .10 water after paying almost $200/night. That’s great customer service for you! Yes indeed.

Help from a great Staff! We received a warm reception from the staff and were able to check in early. But I want to compliment some of the staff who assisted us during an emergency. We had a flat tire and couldn't reach AAA. The two receptionists on duty at the time both called and tried to get a hold of AAA. When two of the employees heard of our plight they offered to help. Brandon DeAngelis and Kristin Bert went into the parking lot to see how they could help. Brandon DeAngelis got under the car and changed the tire for us. Then Brandon and Kristin assisted by giving us directions to the Les Schwab Tire Center in Pendleton. Because of their directions we easily found Schwab. Because of the kindness and assistance we received our stay at The Hampton Inn turned into a positive situation. We returned the following week and spent another night.

Needs a good cleaning! Room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The room needs a good cleaning especially walls and bathroom. One of the reception staff needs a bit of training as she asked if I had room door cards or did I leave them in room. She said she too has forgotten to return them and “steamed” them. I said I rarely return them and do not believe it’s considered stealing, the 2nd reception staff apologized for the comments.
