A trip back home Very friendly, helpful staff and very clean rooms. Excellent access to main roads and shopping. Good restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay at this motel again. I was there during the Heart of Illinois Fair and it was convenient for that as well.

Of my worst stays ever. First, even though I am a Diamond Club member I had to pay a $100 deposit. They said the room I requested wasn't available even though it was 8 pm and only 3 cars in the parking lot. The room they gave me wasn't made up. When going to the second room there was a girl passed out in the hallway by the vending machine (which were out of order). Smell of pot smoke in hallway. This room was a smoking room (yuck!) and the door didn't lock. Too many problems with the room to name here. When checking out the "manager" told me she was sorry for all of this and would refund my room fees. She didn't. Piece of crap. Don't stay here!

Dangerous - DO NOT STAY HERE Where. Do. I. Start... I can’t believe there is a 3star average for this EconoLodge. This is the sketchiest, most disgusting place I’ve ever been. There was literally a hooker being beaten on the other side of the wall of our room at midnight. Two guys roaming the hall all night, door slamming the door at all hours. Screaming arguments throughout the night - and the front desk knows about all of it!!! *FYI - We tried to call the desk (or anybody) to help this poor girl literally screaming bloody murder, but the phone didn’t work. (Shocking, right?) Desk clerk came up while I was still messing with the phone and proceeded to talk the situation down INSTEAD OF CALLING THE POLICE. They are obviously in on whatever is going on. We didn’t call the police for legitimate fear of retaliation if anybody called authorities. Originally booked two nights - refunded my second night but wouldn’t refund the night we stayed because we didn’t leave at midnight when the first issues arose. We chose to camp in 40* rather than stay another night in this place. Oh, how can I forget to review the room itself. Took pictures because I felt like he was going to charge us for the state the room was in. Please, check out the pics and judge for yourself the quality of this ‘establishment’. I had to walk our (nasty, by the way) pillows down to the desk because they didn’t even have pillow cases on them. I have receipts, emails, pictures.. Can’t wait for this guy to try to respond to this review to defend himself. This place is dangerous. I made the mistake of booking here through an internet sale. DO NOT PUT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY IN DANGER BY STAYING HERE. I will be posting this review on every hotel advisory site I can find.

Low end hotel but acceptable Made a mistake with my reservation, and didn’t have a room. Busy in Peoria, and was able to get a last minute reservation at Eco Lodge Plus, staff was great, room is dated, worn out, but clean and functional. Bed is very comfortable Negative, old, worn out, terrible breakfast. Also, allows smoking, but my room was nonsmoking and was just fine Botttom line, if you want an inexpensive hotel, this is perfectly reasonable

Outdated hotel for smokers This Hotel has really comfy beds! Also the room was relatively clean and the AC worked well and was quiet. However the entire hotel smelled like smoke. Even though I booked a non-smoking room the hotel (hallway, entry, etc) smelled! I booked here for the included breakfast which was REALLY meager: plain mini-bagels and mini chocolate donuts, raisin bran, waffles and one milk. No eggs, no yogurt, no fruit, no juice. The dresser in the room was missing a drawer. The toilet didn't work the first few times I flushed it. The room was a bit outdated, but everything appeared clean. The other rooms on our floor were a little noisy but it wasn't so much that it kept me awake. Workout room was without any ventilation so it was a bit hot/humid. However the equipment worked well (there were 2 machines + weight machine). I shouldn't expect much - you get what you pay for - but I think next time I'll spend a little more. The smoke smell was by far the worst aspect of this hotel.
