Thank you George at the front desk! Lovely room in a classy hotel that fits in well with old town atmosphere. Perfect location for walking to the historical attractions. Staff went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful. George, at the front desk, even made us a pot of coffee one evening when the coffee shops were closed and my husband was getting a coffee withdrawal migraine. We are eternally grateful._☺️

First visit to Philly The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. From allowing us to check in early to storing our bags on our final day George and Antonio went above and beyond for customer service. The happy hour small plates and wine was very popular with returning guests and locals. I highly recommend stopping. Our room was comfortable and I appreciated the jacuzzi tub after all the walking we did during our 4 night stay. I was not bothered by freeway noise. The hotel is a very easy location for Lyft/Uber to the airport. Old City was a perfect choice for our first visit to Philly. We did use buses, Lyft and walked. The bus stop is steps from the hotel. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable Quiet, Clean, and Quaint. The staff were very helpful and friendly! It's also convenient for restaurants and other attractions. Close to the riverlink ferry. We had a room with a river view and very large bathroom/ shower. The wife couldn't have been pleased more.

An absolute gem We recently booked 6 rooms at the Penn's View for a graduation weekend. The manager, Antonio, in advance of our stay, was enormously helpful in coordinating our reservations, and he and his colleagues could not have been more warm or welcoming upon our arrival. Our rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and immaculate. The onsite restaurant is delicious and has an extraordinary offering of wines by the glass from all over the world. Complimentary morning coffee and muffins were delicious. We have been fortunate to travel all over the world, and this was by far one of our most pleasant hotel stays. My only suggestion would be to request a room toward the back of the hotel. The front of the hotel, despite double paned windows, still has some ambient noise from the nearby freeway, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to be further back where you don't hear anything.

Like staying with a friend Charming hotel with an excellent location. Super friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is in a historic building and the room felt like it was part of someone's home instead of a hotel. The staff went out of their way to help us figure out where we were going and how to get there
