Abysmal Customer Service - Stay Someplace Else I was not impressed by this hotel or it’s customer service. I travel with medication that needs to be kept cold. By the time I got to the hotel, the ice packs in the cooler I use had melted and needed to be refrozen. I wasn’t sure the ancient fridge/freezer combo in my room would do the job, so I asked the front desk if I could put the ice packs in the hotel’s freezer. That is when the excuses started. We don’t have a freezer. Actually, we do have one but there is no room. Actually, there is room but the freezer is in another building, which gets locked up. Finally, the real reason came out: the hotel was not willing to make keeping my meds cold “it’s problem.” Never mind that I was asking for help with the ice packs and not the actual meds. Can’t help you, they said. I travel a lot and have been carrying these meds around the world with me for the last couple of years. This is the first time a hotel has ever flat out refused to let me refreeze ice packs. Next time I’m in Phoenix, you can bet I will stay someplace that remembers it’s actually in the hospitality business.

The Worst Embassy Suites at which I have stayed. The link from the Hilton Honors website to the Hotel's webpage, clearly advertises "on stie resttaurant" that is false advertising. We opted for this property because of the stated "on site" restaurant. Without an on-site restaurant, following the breakfast my wife was forced to go without food until the evening meal, The hotel website, that is linked from the Hilton site, also states this property is one of the original Embassy Suites. It appears as if the lobby may be the original lobby. Probably the least appealing lobby of any hotel at which I have stayed. The room, 112, also appeared as if it may have been the original decor, very unappealing. The air conditioning was extremely loud and did not cool well. The only positive is the bed was comfortable. I feel as if the property "stole" by Hilton Honors points. The next time I am in Phoenix as a volunteer at an annual youth sporting event, I will stay at the Embassy Suites property a few blocks west of this property.

Not a place to stay..... I paid $405 for one night due to an issue with an airline causing me to stay over due to a missed connection. The people are nice and the breakfast was great. Other than that, my goodness....my room's ventilation was terrible (never cooled off); didn't have hot water (Luke warm), the mattress and pillows were flat as can be and the wifi was pretty terrible so I used my phone as a hot spot. This is an OLD hotel. High Rate. High demand in the area...I get it. But there was next to no quality at all.

Awful and disgusting hotel - Not family friendly! The pictures the hotel advertises of the rooms and building exterior are nothing compare to what it looks like in person. Section 8 housing in the hotel is not acceptable for families staying there. Mold on all the vents, Barb wire fence as our bedroom view, carpet in the room falling apart and the hot water in the shower lasted less than 5 minutes. Horrible experience!
