TERRIBLE! Hotel cancelled room on day of booking - left me stranded - refused to help Midtown Garden Hotel Phoenix TERRIBLE! Hotel cancelled room on day of booking - left me stranded - refused to help TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE service...! stay away Hotel cancelled booking on day of check-in... What can I say.... I booked through a third party ..... arrived at the hotel after getting off my flight... only to be told - that they had canclled my room that morning due to a leak in the roof - and that they were sold out. As I had booked thorugh a third party - they refused to assist in finding alternative lodging... and was told - "it was also my responsbility to contact the hotel".... (I joke not....).. person on the Front Desk.. would not let me speak to a manager.... tried to explain - my third party was based in Australia.... didn't matter to the lady on reception.. so I was left in the hotel lobby - trying to find a hotel (last minute) to check in that nigh.... Thanks for nothing Midtown Garden Hotel Phoenix Service is terrible... I can't comment on rooms or cleanliness... but I would only recommend to AVOID

DONT STAY HERE, ITS A SCAM! This place is a dump. When we arrived they couldn’t prove a room key for any of the guests. We had to be escorted to our room every time we entered. None of the amenities were advertised as “not in use or being renovated”. We arrived and we were told that the restaurant was closed , the bar was not open either . The pools and patio are were also closed. So basically it’s false advertising. Our room did not even have lighting outside the door, inside the room , no hot water , no smoke alarm ( exposed wires and the tv didn’t even work! Not to mention the parking garage has zero lighting and it’s covered in trash , and is literally falling apart. No security , completely unsafe and not a single thing was done to make anything right by the front desk. DONT STAY HERE!

Pretty poor experience and facility Reserved 7 rooms in feb for a soccer tournament. The hotel was horribly run down. The breakfast was not a buffet with hot items per initial description. Often times out of food or clean dishes when we arrived during breakfast time w 16 soccer players. Hotel didn’t open up . Pool per date they told me in their email. Facilites were run down and dirty as well. Not once did we see a general manager on site while were there despite our multiple complaints both asking in person and with notes and follow up w survey review. I feel bad for the front desk staff. They are in tough spot to have to front all the unhappy customers. They did their best to accommodate and provide refrigerators in rooms because not all rooms have them. There were no ice machines on our floor with vacant dirty spots on the floor. We didn’t have the option to relocate because we had 7 rooms and since it’s a soccer trip everything was pre budgeted and all hotels were booked do to multiple tournaments for various sports an a couple of conventions. Again front desk folks really tried to accommodate with limited resources or decision making power. Now to the final piece. I’ve written Imelda reyes THREE times because I also have not yet received my points for 6 of the rooms I paid for. Wth?!?!? It was something I discussed with her before my arrival, a couple times during, upon check out and 3 emails to follow up? Now supposedly under new management and still no response. I tried to manage this offline so not to add one more negative hoping the hotel would get it together but maybe a public forum is the only way I may get my reply and points for 6 rooms x 4 nights each. That’s a lotta points Wyndham.

Mixed Reveiw Was perfect Until Me and my Brother traveled here for Business/ pleasure, I am getting married in April of 2020 once we were assigned to Phoenix area I decided I would take the time to find the perfect location for my guest since my wedding is going to be held in AZ. During this time I lost my debit card, I had one sent to this hotel.Upon leaving to go to dinner I stopped at front desk, When I asked manager about it he went to the back and returned saying he almost sent it back guest are not allowed to receive mail. He asked for my id. I explained I didn't have it on me I would return to the front desk with it. My car was broken into (not at hotel)but my sister n law and I both had our belongings stolen, so all I had was my military Id and my work badge, By the time we returned from dinner I was tired and it was late. I decided i would take my Id down the next day and retrieve my debit card. When I went to front desk I was informed the manager told a front desk clerk since I didn't return immediately to return the debit card in the mail. I have 9 rooms booked at this location for April. My fiance does not want to go through hassle of finding a new location and the rooms are clean and in all I enjoy the stay, My sister n law is awaiting her debit card as well we have asked them to not return it so we will see. Or else I will be cancelling my April reservations and I have 9 rooms booked. SMh
