Pool day and cabana rental We had a group of 9 using the pool area for the day. We rented a cabana through Resort Pass. The pools are pretty and all of the employees were extremely helpful and patient. Our cabana wasn't the greatest. Comfy furniture, but too big for the space. The mini fridge door was a little broken and there was an electrical box or something sticking out of the ground at the cabana opening. They had a big plastic fake rock thing covering it, but it was very bulky and we kept running into it. They are doing some construction which I understand things like that have to get done sometimes, but there was no hot tub and we were sat near the construction and listened to the equipment the whole time. We ordered food and lots of drinks. Everything was very good. Just do not get a lime flavored margarita _. Everything is pretty pricey and our food/drink bill came to around $400.00 for all of us. I think given the current atmosphere within the cabana and upper pool area, $200.00 for the cabana is a little much even with a maximum of 8 guests.

Miserable Absolutely the worst stay I have ever had at a hotel sorry “resort” I paid Resort prices for a nothing more than a glorified motel 8. There was blood on the bed the room was not the room we booked the bathroom was dirty with a stained tub from the previous guests. The toilet seat was not even attached to the toilet on one part. When I called down and explained it to the manager we were offered no solution except we can change rooms or get a new hotel. We changed rooms to the safe type of room again not the one we booked and it was better but had a yellow stain in the bathtub which we asked the bellhop to send someone up to clean it while we were at our event……. It was never cleaned so i personally cleaned it. We asked for help with our luggage and a cooler the bellhop never came back to help us instead told us to leave our vehicle on the other side of the resort and come back for it which we did and then moved our vehicle around the front and walked past the Bellhop with our bags and coolers……… didn’t say a word. Same thing on our check out day, watched us leave without saying a word. With personally over 8 years as a F&B manager at a luxury hotel brand (JW Marriott & Westin) I expect similar service to what I ensured my guests had, this was absolutely the opposite of service. I will never stay or recommend this hotel ever again. Just for verification I have photos of all of my “claims”

The hotel common areas and the rooms we reserved were seriously outdated and dirty Wow, shame on Hilton and shame on me. I read reviews regarding the cleanliness of this "resort". I should have taken heed and cancelled my reservations. My husband, myself and our 2 grand-kids stayed for 4 nights. The 2 rooms we reserved and the hotel itself were very outdated and unclean. Since the trip I have sent a letter to the General Manager of the hotel with photos, the CEO of Hilton and the Customer Complaint Center expressing my concerns. Nobody even sent a courtesy response to the email. We have been loyal Hilton Honors members for several years. We will no longer be staying at any Hilton properties. I urge anyone who was planning on staying there to cancel your reservation.

Construction Warning Just a warning they are under construction. It was difficult to find the registration as there were no signs I saw. There is no real gift shop and Starbucks selection is minimal. Only one pool behind registration. I had originally booked my room but when I got there is was close to the construction. I imagine it will be nice in a couple of years but for now not a 4 star hotel. It would have been nice if I had been told of all the construction. I bring my grandkids for the River Ranch but won't be staying here again.

Overall, not bad Stayed here for a conference & it wasn’t too bad. The lobby, cafe, & overall layout of the property was good. It’s pretty spread out with a BBQ restaurant nearby as well as a small waterpark. I would agree that the decor seemed out of date (at the time of my stay). There is a Mexican restaurant (Aunt Chilada’s) as well as an Italian restaurant (Tutti Santi) within walking distance that were really good, highly recommend both.
