Out $100 My wife and I just wanted to get away for an night and enjoy getting out of the house in the winter and going somewhere where we could sit in a hot tub and relax. Whenever we have had family visit in the past, they have stayed here and enjoyed it so we figured it would be an enjoyable visit. When we went to check in there was a sign at the desk saying the hot tub wasn't working. We explained that that defeated the purpose of our visit and cancelled. We were charged for the nights stay regardless and called the next day to see if you could get any sort of refund and were told no. So were are out $100 for a room we never stayed in.

Okay, nothing special - Not set up well when busy The room was clean and comfortable. Issues being the lobby is very small, especially the breakfast area and seating. Trying to utilize the breakfast was near impossible because of the crowd. No towels for the pool and front desk said they were out! Couldn't you have washed some?

Hotel in a weather crisis. We lost our power during a horrible snow storm and bitter cold. When our power outage was extended we decided to stay in a hotel near by . We booked the Comfort Inn in Plainwell about 9 miles from our house and ch vid in about 4 pm on a Saturday. The room was spic and span clean including the bathroom. The room had two queen beds which were super super comfortable and the room decor was pleasant. I would have given the hotel a 5 star except check in was a little slow. However if you find yourself in need of a super clean well maintained room and n this area of Michigan I would highly recommend it.

Loud Stayed Christmas night with our 2 dogs so our girls could spend the night with their grandparents before the long drive back home. Check in was fine, our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The problem was that you could hear every single step from the room above us. They were up until after 1 am and up again by 5. The plows were out at 3am, which again, sounded like they were plowing in our room. The simple 2 queen bed room was $130 plus an additional $30 for the dogs. So $160 to get zero sleep was absolutely not worth it! If you are not an extremely sleeper, think twice about booking here unless they can guarantee a 2nd floor room.

One night in Plainwell We only were there for one evening and stayed there because we had visited a few years back and the hotel was quite nice, Management was in the midst of renovating and upgrading parts of the hotel but it was clearly a work in progress. Our room was quite nice but the beds were too high. Myj wife ended up sleeping in a chair. Breakfast was fine.
