Great place if you’re safety minded I recently stayed at this hotel to spend time with family who lives nearby. Throughout my stay, it was quite clear that this hotel is undergoing renovations because the pool and fitness center was both closed. I did not notice a juice machine during breakfast. While my room was definitely dated with its lack of USB ports, it was clean and safe. Beds were clean and comfortable. TV had lots of channels to watch. What sets this hotel apart from others is their commitment to safety. When I arrived, there was a party in the hotel parking lot. The front desk clerk got the people holding the party to leave. While I was walking down the stairs, I noticed a sign on the door that goes outside that says anyone caught propping the door open will be asked to leave. The Sleep Inn Pooler’s dedication to safety more than makes up for the pool and fitness center being closed.

No Clean Rooms? I made reservations the night before. When I went to check the next day at 2pm. I was told the rooms were not ready and to come back at 3pm. I knew 2pm was early but after traveling all day I was hoping to check in a little earlier. I came back a little after 3pm and was told they still didn't have any clean rooms and to go have dinner. I told the lady at the front desk who has dinner at 3pm. I went out to my car called the company I made the reservations through. They called the hotel and canceled the reservations and I went else where.

Disappointment and out of the standard This hotel deviates from our earlier experiences of Sleep Inns, a lot. At arrival, when asking about it, we were told that the pool is broken/under renovation. The overall cleanliness was also way poorer than in the other hotels of the chain. The breakfast was something I wouldn’t call a breakfast. “The juice machine was broken and cereal were on their way”, so it was plastic wrapped muffins and danishes, water and waffles. Apples were available too. Coffee was decent. If we would have informed on these shortages, we would have chosen another hotel. Sleep Inns are generally good quality-to-price choices, but this particular one was a disappointment.

No more. I’ll look for some where else to stay when I’m in area. This was my go to place to stay when in the area due to location and price, but no more. The fridge was frozen up, the air conditioner was not working, a partial roll of toilet paper with no spare roll and when we went down for breakfast at 8 am, the waffle maker was not on.

FILTHY DUMP This hotel is extremely filthy - DO NOT STAY THERE! My friend booked it because rooms were almost gone in other hotels and the prices were high (snow birds heading to Florida) but what a mistake. See the photos - the elevator was disgusting - hadn't been cleaned in months by the look (and smell) of it. The third floor carpeting was a series of huge horrible stains - God only knows what they were and how long they were there. The room - oh yes, the room - stains on the walls of some liquid. Rugs also very dirty. Corners of the bathroom floor were dust packed - no one cleans the floor really well. I didn't take a photo of the worst - I lifted the bottom bedsheet (it wasn't fitted - just hanging down) and almost puked. You should see the stains on the mattress. Couldn't sleep all night long (on top of the covers). Leaving in the morning I had to use the restroom - check out the photo of that toilet - a huge brown water line - don't know when that bathroom had been cleaned. I could go on - just don't stay there - it isn't worth saving a few bucks - stop earlier or drive further if you have to;
