Quality Inn & Suites Baton Rouge West – Port Allen

Bed Bugs/blood stains/falling apart My family of 3 booked two rooms at the Quality Inn in Port Allen, LA last night 10/21/23 for us and our friends(also family of 3). When we got done with the LSU-Army game in Baton Rouge last night we drove over to the hotel to take showers and go to bed. Lo and behold, this was one of the most defunct, rundown, stinkiest, hotels I’ve ever booked. It was so bad and nasty, that the 6 of us decided to drive all the way back from Port Allen, LA to our homes in Bossier City, LA. My son had taken a shower and got in bed, and in less than 5 minutes had bites on his leg. That was the last straw that made us get on the road to drive almost 4 hours home in the middle of the night.

Horrible service While the rooms are clean, the equipment and service are terrible. We checked in and after getting settled in our room, we realized the refrigerator was making a loud humming noise. I called the front desk and asked for someone to come up and turn it off. We did not want to have to change rooms but knew we did not need the refrigerator. No one came. After taking a shower I tried to use the hair dryer and fiscovered it did not work. I called the front desk again and reminded them we needed someone to turn off the refrigerator or fix it so it stopped buzzing and asked for a hair dryer to be brought quickly. No one ever came. Two hours later the front desk called to say they could not reach anyone to fix the refrigerator. We ended up lifting it out ourselves (2 women) and unplugging it. No hair dryer ever deluvered. My hair will have to wait until tomorrow night at a different hotel to get styled. The air conditioner rattles so we won't be able to sleep even with the refrigerator unplugged. Choose another place.

WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY 58 YEARS ALIVE!!!! Upon arrival (no reservation) I asked for an easy access room for my 92 year old Mom who was with me. The clerk said she had one close to elevator but no easy access. We took it. While still in parking lot, the clerk called me and said that the man who was going to stay in the easy access room had changed his mind! Great! (so I thought) When we arrived to room, there was a woman standing outside of her hotel smoking and I noticed that she had plants in the windowsill. That told me that she lived there and I wasn't comfortable putting my Mom anywhere close to what might end up not so good. Again, no biggie, right? NOT!!! THE MANAGER (who is so unprofessional that we have never spoken...she makes staff tell me stuff) IS REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY!!! PLEASE HAVE THE C.E.O. PATRICK PACIOUS call me!!!! What a shame that this pathetic person who "claims" to be the manager will not help me in any way nor even speak with me. This has been going on for 2 MONTHS!!!!! How sad that I have to leave a review like this in hopes the PATRICK will see this and contact me! If you want to speak to mgr at hotel you had better call between 10:30 am-1:20 pm because those are her hours. Not even 2 hours a day...no wonder I can't get help!

I thought they were all smoke free Not the case, I was not offered a nonsmoking room. I'm sure they are all smoking rooms. Ashtrays in rooms. Walk by every room, smells like cigarettes, incense or marijuana! Disgusting! The room was fairly clean. 2 roaches in bathroom. A/C worked ok. WiFi was good. Old hotel, all doors open to outside. Saw lady smoking in front of room and put it on on bldg...no respect! I will be more careful picking and never stay here again!

Very Rude. Disrespectful owner ! My Husband and his crew of 14 total RESERVED 7 rooms for 7 Day so we would be able to restore Power back for the people of Louisiana....... We never know if we will be moved to another town to help in that area , not our choice ! We expected to pay for the rooms day by day so if we had to go we would pay as normal check out times and such, Not a problem but this guy made us pay for 4 days straight up or he wouldn't give us any rooms at all as my husband tried explaining to him how this works and We were there to restore power " He didn't care" I find it to be a little out there to try and price gouging ......... Please don't put these lineman through this as they have drove for hours to be there to help everyone not to have to worry if they have a roof over their head at the end of VERY long days of work !!!!!!!!!!!!!
