Wedding vibes Radisson hotel hosted my wedding reception in June. Firstly I must thank Anneisha, Mrs. James, Marissa and Jason. From the very start you all treated me like family right up until the very end. All my needs and concerns were met and dealt with the utmost professionalism. I was a bride and you never let me forget it. The room, the food the staff on my wedding say the service all came together to ensure my fairytale did come thru. The security at thr front who went above and beyond for me, all the staff who worked in the background, changing things at a moments notice, I thank you. The experience was indeed a wonderful one and I will do it again in a heartbeat. All the best to you all. Keep up the good work Radisson. Aisha

A Disastrous Stay at Radisson Hotel **1 Star Review: A Disastrous Stay at Radisson Hotel** I recently stayed at the Radisson hotel, part of the Choice Hotels group, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I was there for my birthday weekend, expecting a pleasant experience, but what I got was far from it. Firstly, the check-in process was disorganized and inefficient. The staff seemed untrained and unprepared, causing unnecessary delays after a long journey. The first room I was given was filthy with visible dirt and dust everywhere, and the door lock didn't work. After reporting these issues, I was moved to another room. The second room had a malfunctioning air conditioning unit with dirty filters, making the room uncomfortable and potentially hazardous to health. When I brought this up with the hotel staff, they were dismissive and unhelpful. I was moved to a third room, which also had maintenance issues and was not up to the standards I expected from a Radisson hotel. This whole ordeal ruined my birthday weekend. Instead of celebrating with my friends, who accompanied me, we spent the time dealing with subpar accommodations and repeatedly changing rooms. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience for all of us. The hotel suffers from poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, and inadequate guest security. The staff's inability to address and rectify these issues only made things worse. This stay has left me with a profoundly negative impression of the Radisson brand. I urge others to reconsider staying at this location until these serious issues are addressed.

Horrible customer service, outdated rooms, poor attempt at compensation for terrible stay I arrived on 6/22/24 around 2pm, tried to check into hotel, started check in with Shenelle behind the desk who confirmed the room rate and room type which was a king room, scan copied my passport, then got passed to another person Kayla, who started to continue working on my check in then got passed to a third person, Giselle who didn’t even say hello and was clearly doing something else other than checking me in. She helped another person who jumped in front of me as I stood there for 15-20 mins, she said nothing while doing something on the computer and then told me to go back to Kayla who activated two keys to room 227. I go to the room after waiting for nearly an hour for check in, and it was two double beds rather than the king bed that I requested and that Shenelle confirmed. I go back downstairs to inform the staff about the room and all three of them looked as if they had NO idea what to do next. Then Kayla then says I have to wait another 20 minutes for another king room to be available. After waiting another 45 mins I finally had a room. Additionally, the website confirms that check in is guaranteed by 3:00PM and I did not get a room key until almost 4:30PM. Also, it's not as if there was a long line with many guests in front of me, it was just me and two friends waiting for our individual rooms. All three of us had a similar check in experience. Three staff members, three guests waiting to check in, this shouldnt have been an issue. When we asked to speak to the manager, the Giselle was very evasive about providing the general managers name or contact information. We had to ask her multiple times and she kept giving his schedule of when he would be in the hotel rather than an email address. When she finally gave the email address she provided an email address without an “@“ sign, purposely giving incorrect information. I pointed out it’s not an email address and all three desk staff claimed it was, even though there was no “@“ sign in the “email address”. They then showed me the email address on outlook and they clearly didn’t read the actual address which I pointed out to them in the Outlook contact sheet. I’m not sure how any of these individuals have a job in customer service to be totally honest. It should not take over two hours to check into the CORRECT room. It also shouldn’t take 3 people to check someone into a room. Upon entering the correct room, there was no hairdryer, no iron, and no ironing board; housekeeping did however provide these items after I called. Rooms are outdated and the images shown are misleading because most of the rooms are not renovated, also the bathroom had a missing drain cover in the shower, the AC filter needed to be changed, both bedside lamps didnt work, and three of the outlets in the room did not work. Ridiculous wait times, horrible customer service, and poor approach to compensation after expressing our poor check in experience (I was given ONE free breakfast and they also sent up a fruit platter which was clearly just leftover fruit from the breakfast buffet). With the experience my group received, a refund for one night was the bare minimum and the LEAST they could have done. I emailed the manager Gustavo who then responded by telling me to book another stay with them to get a "special rate" whatever that means. I waited some time to get some sort of compensation from the hotel manager prior to writing this but this is clearly not a priority for him so here goes this review. This is clearly not the level of customer service that any hotel should have when it comes to compensating their guests for inconveniences they themselves created. How are you expecting the customer to pay MORE money in hopes they have a better experience a second time instead of just compensating them for the first time? The training and customer service here needs a significant overhaul. Would not recommend.

Thumbs down! Won't stay here again In town for business, but did not enjoy my stay at this hotel despite the friendly front desk staff. (1) Overpriced food! No microwave in room, and better food could be found outside of hotel. (2) Overpriced rooms! Room doors that don't lock unless you pull them hard from the outside, or push hard from the inside. My sense of security went out the window. (3) Not a restful stay. They don't provide "Do not disturb signs" and the Housekeeping staff will open the door on you if you don't answer their knock. This happened 3x during my one week stay. On my final day there, I was asleep when one staff member tried to enter my room, she claimed she was entering my room "to invite me to have something sweet." Luckily I had the safety latch on. Very sketchy behavior if you ask me. Judging by the damage to the door, I wondered if forced entry into people's room was common at this hotel. (4). So-so on cleanliness. Check the blankets on your bed on check in. The blanket on my bed was inside of a duvet, the duvet appeared clean, but when I inspected the blanket within I could tell it hadn't been washed recently. There was a ring of dirt along the edge. I removed it from the bed immediately. I won't be staying here again. For the little time I spent in my room, I did not enjoy staying here.

Disrespectful Employee I rate my experience as one.Due to an ignorant, delfish, numskull and disrespectful server. She Luck I did not sue her dumb tale.Butting into my personal convos,She need to learn to talk to other proper. My Business partners were upset. Then demanding to be tipped. She's very rude to not only guests but to co workers as well.I am an Executive board member of Design Hotel chain.I will also send an e-mail to Mr.Ashram Ramnarine on the matter.I don't want to go into more details.Name of server is one bearing the name of Darcel. She needs to be retrained.Hospitality is not for her.
