Unsafe and poor security. Will never stay again or recommend. One of the worst hotel experiences I've dealt with. Some would be put off by the guests at the hotel = itinerant individuals, migrants, homeless, etc. I was not as everyone in this country deserves a safe place to be and sleep. SAFE was the issue. NONE of the access doors to the building are ever locked! They have "guards" in the halls but sometimes they fall asleep or aren't there. The "management" is reckless to say the least. All that is said is "I'll call my supervisor" - and don't. I am appalled that such an unsafe environment exists for all the guests there. I've reported to the state. YOU NEED TO HAVE ACCESS DOORS LOCKED, especially at night. Our room 235 was basically "clean" - smelled of clorox. Upon inspection - sheets were dirty/ dust all over the bed frame and I could see dirt on the box spring when I picked up the pillows. MOLD covered the ceiling of the bathroom. Our room door looked like it had been kicked in or out and it did not lock correctly - dead bolt worked but the "latch" was tricky to engage. As neither front or back door were locked I push furniture in front of the door!!! The security guards we spoke to were very nice and understanding. They agreed that the building was not safe and that they needed to take breaks (understandable) and that sometimes no one monitored the areas. We were there for an event on October 18-19 and we paid $300 nightly for the room. MONEY grab. This was a $70 a night room and even that was too much. I really WORRY about all the residents who live there and anyone who stays there. Again, I have reported to the State and Red Roof organization.

Clean, very affordable and very convenient I have stayed at many Red Roofs, and I would highly recommend this location. The rooms are clean, the hotel is in an excellent location, and the price can't be beat, especially if you are travelling with pets! The concierge at the front desk, "V", was extremely polite, helpful, and accommodating. There is an asian buffet restaurant right next door and several other restaurants within a close walk. Other hotels in the area wanted triple what I paid for a room with pets! Will stay here anytime I'm coming through the area!

Least expensive in the area for a reason For $122 plus tax a bit weak…the outside was a bit shabby but rooms were updated and clean-a couple of breaking fixtures in the bathroom & a potentially very slippery tub.Needs a mat!My main concern was that this motel is being used to house a group folks -maybe alien applicants ? As there seems to a separate desk for some people and extra security on hand.Desk fellow was nice but almost no English and his cure for a beeping smoke detector was to pull it out of the wall.

One Night Stay After spending the day at the FDR house and museum, my husband and I went here to stay for the night. I booked on Expedia and had no issues checking in. Our room had two double beds which were comfortable. The room was large and spacious. My husband enjoyed the large bath tub. The room was not the cleanest. Something in the room set my allergies off. The door we brought our bags through had a security guard sitting next to it. The first floor smelled like marijuana, but our second floor room had no smell of marijuana or cigarette smoke. The hotel had no breakfast in the morning.
