In need of care . . . This property has the look of a place that needs refurbishing and some care from staff. The drive has potholes, and the parking lot is littered. Inside the front door, a room labeled “meeting room” seems to have all its furniture covered with bedsheets. Fixtures in the room have sloppy grout seams, and the toilet makes a rather strange sound when flushed. The pillow cases are yellowed, the pillows are mismatched, and the bedsheets are rumpled; we assume they have been washed, but it’s not totally clear. The TV is secured to the top of the chest with two-inch Phillips-head screws that are standing exposed at each corner of the tv base. Overall, the property has the look of a place that has been beaten up and neglected.

Never again! Traveling on business. Called for a smoking room. Made a reservation. Got here. No more smoking room's. Asked about coffee in the morning. Sure. Sure. Sure. Got up at 4:15 to get ready for work. No coffee. Called the front desk guy and woke him up. He wouldn't make coffee until 6 am. Not much for hospitality.

Terrible Great little motel for the price. For 70 something a night, you really can’t beat it! You get free door greetings by guest services because they are sitting out on the curb smoking just awaiting your arrival! It’s really great to know that someone is always waiting to assist where they can! We walked through the doors and almost couldn’t believe our eyes! The furniture in the small lobby came straight from the 90’s and took me right down memory lane to those moments where my uncles would crack open a cold one and smoke an entire pack of Marlboro reds in a old garage. I just can’t tell you how excited I was. The best part was walking through the second floor hallway where baskets of clothing lay outside of doors on the carpet. The carpet looked as though ir hadn’t been peed on in 29 minutes - a new record. The smell, well, that’s like the extra chicken nugget in the box of 10. Not entirely unexpected but - great! We got to the door of our room for the night and VOILA! The icing on the cake! Room 211 had the words “LANE IS A TWEAKER” written on it. I know it’s not my name, I just thought it was an encouraging sentiment. We opened the door and it reeked if smoke and filth. There was pubic hair on the shampoo bottle as well as soap scum on the counter. I can’t wait to stay again! PS. Please don’t even try to break into the washing machine. Or else.

Service? What service? On 05 October of 2022 I booked a room at this motel for the night of )8 October. I specified a late check in as I would most likely not be there much before 6 PM. I was on a road trip, better then 150 miles from home. When I arrived to check in, around 5 PM I was first told they had no record of my reservation. I then provided the conformation number I had been given., as well as three conformation e-mails i received. Suddenly, there was my reservation. They (the desk clerk) said the reservation had been canceled. No explanation, no reason for the cancelation or who had canceled (obviously not me). No rooms available. Not so much as an offer to call other motels in the area to try to find me a room. I was told "there is nothing I can do. Besides you made the reservation online, so we are not required to honor it. Goodbye". After trying other motels in the area, I was able to get a room in a higher end motel. The clerk there was very helpful, and after I explained what had happened at econolodge (lower case intentional) she gave me a discount, so I only paid $1.95 more for a very nice room, Buyer beware.

Your reservation may be cancelled! Beware! A reservation may not be a reservation at this hotel! I booked a room at this hotel in May, 2021, for 2 dates September 10 and 11, during a busy town festival time. I always book early, as the 4 hotels in this town tend to all fill up as the festival gets closer. I got an e mail from Econo Lodge on September 5th, confirming my reservation, and said how they were looking forward to seeing me. . The next day I got a call from a friend who was also staying at the hotel the same weekend. He had just gotten a call from this hotel, telling him his reservation was cancelled, without any good explanation. He had booked his room in May 2021 as well. He was told that for some reason about 15 different room reservations were being canceled. I immediately went to check my reservation on line, and to my shock and surprise, my reservation was cancelled as well. I never received any phone call or e mail about this. I called corporate to complain, and they were helpful, but told me they could not help me with a room, even though they did take the time to call the hotel, but could not give me reason why the reservation was canceled. So I guess they just expected me(if I had not checked my reservation) to just show up only to find my reservation was cancelled, with no where to stay, with every hotel in town filled. From what my friend was told, there are likely 13 other families they will likely experience the same type of poor treatment and service. A corporate complaint was filed with Choice Hotels.
