Amazingly awesome service! The staff is so incredibly friendly and attentive! Carlos, our server by the pool, made sure to know our drink orders. At the spa ask for Maria for a relaxing massage and Suri for your deep tissue massage. Also get the hydrotherapy with Victor and Matu! Don miss dinner at Kobo for an amazingly awesome and entertaining dinner experience with your chief Carlos and your server Pedro!

Great vacation! This is the fourth year we've vacationed here, and it was another great time. Food and drinks are some of the best we've had at any resort. We had Leopoldo and Orlando taking care of reservations and anything else we needed the whole week. Great communicatuon! They did a great job! Rooms were clean every day. We'll be back for spring break!

Family vacation We had a great time and David and Jesus our butlers took very good care of us. The property was clean. The nightly shows were nice. Great place for the whole family to be entertained. We look forward to returning again.

Overall an enjoyable family vacation We are a family of three (two adults and a six-year-old) who recently traveled from Brisbane, Australia, spending three weeks in Puerto Morelos, Cozumel, and Playa del Carmen. Our first week was spent at El Cid Marina. The check-in process was effortless, as we booked through Expedia, and we were offered a reasonable upgrade to a larger room with an ocean view, which we happily accepted. Our overall experience at El Cid Marina was delightful. The resort grounds were impeccably maintained, and the staff worked diligently to ensure our satisfaction. Our favorite dining option was the Italian restaurant, which also served as our breakfast spot, with Dolores being our preferred choice for lunch. We would like to extend special thanks to our favorite waiters, Carlos, Juan, and Elado, who consistently went above and beyond to enhance our dining experience. Most of our time was spent at the main Marina pool, where our daughter adored the waterslide and the lively environment fostered by the entertainment staff. The entertainment team, particularly Lesly and Heidi, was exceptional, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere. While there were a few minor inconveniences, we did not allow them to overshadow our vacation experience. These included: (1) the smell of sargassum, which we anticipated through our research; however, there were days when the odor was so strong that we felt the need to leave the hotel to escape it. (2) The challenge of making restaurant reservations was frustrating; upon check-in, no reservations were available, and we had to wait two days to book just two at a time. Thankfully, we typically dined early, so the 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM reservations worked well for us. (3) There were occasional delays with the golf buggies, as they sometimes did not arrive when booked. Overall, we had a wonderful time and wished we could have enjoyed swimming in the ocean, though this was beyond the hotel's control.

Great time! Great Resort! The resort had everything we needed and more!! Food was fantastic, activities were in walking distance, pool was great, and our Butlers, Sebastian & Ricardo were amazing!!
