Incredible Beauty; Impeccable Service I was fortunate to stay at The Gaia hotel with my husband and 17-year-old daughter last month. We were beyond impressed by the hotel’s cleanliness, location, and beauty. Everywhere you look, there is something lovely to see, whether it’s art, a sloth, the stunning ocean view, or Luna (the resident kitty). But it is the staff who really make this place special. The owner, Borris, introduces himself and is available should there be any issues (we had none). The restaurant staff was consistently friendly and helpful. But it was the concierge service that makes the hotel stand out from others. Guests are given a phone number to text (I used WhatsApp) with their personal concierge; I was lucky enough to work with Jose. He was caring and responsive, whether I was asking him to arrange restaurant reservations, a taxi ride into town, or umbrellas at the beach. The hotel also arranged excellent private transportation from San Jose airport (a 3-hour drive) as well as to our next destination in Guanacaste. Breakfasts were included with our stay, and they were delicious every day. There was a wide variety of options, and the meal is enjoyed in a restaurant with jaw-dropping views. They were the perfect way to begin another day in paradise! We can’t wait to return to The Gaia, a hotel that truly embodies the Pura Vida spirit.

Fantastic stay! Gaia was a fantastic place to stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the room was always clean and the facilities were maintained perfectly. The best part of the stay was the service. My concierge Alex was super responsive and had wonderful suggestions both food and activities. All the scheduled excursions - sailing, hiking and kayaking - were top tier. Clarence, the nature guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, could spot a sloth (see photos below) with amazing precision and his enthusiasm for wildlife was contagious. Even the transportation team was always on time and very professional. Highly recommend staying here!

Awesome Experience This was an amazing experience at Gaia Hotel. Customer service was excellent. The restaurant inside the hotel was delicious with a combination of vegetarian, meat based and pescatarian options. Our concierge Alex provided excellent customer service and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed the entire time. The hotel has beautiful rooms with picturesque views. The hotel grounds are kept very clean. We strongly recommend Hotel Gaia.

Gaia Pura Vida My family and I spent a couple of nights at the Gaia Hotel and Reserve in Manuel Antonio! There are no words to describe our experience! They location it wonderful, just the place to be for a chillaxing vacation! The staff is incredibly awesome! Very polite, warm and helpful. We have a really amazing time there. And our concierge Alex, is an amazingperson. He gets 5 stars!! I have recommended to all my friends and families to make Gaia Hotel on their list whenever they visit Costa Rica __. Will definitely return in the near future! Pura vida ♥️

With service and food like this, why stay anywhere else. From the time you check in to the time you check out you feel like the most important person at the hotel. The staff learn your name and greet you when you arrive for a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. You are giving a personal concierge to help with anything you might need. Our concierge was Alex and he helped to make meal reservations at the restaurant, order room service for us or arrange for a taxi. However, he went well beyond these normal responsibilities. When we left a phone charger on the boat we had rented for the day, we told Alex and he had the charger at room within an hour. When we went to get drinks down the street and there was no Uber available after 10pm, we messaged him and he had a taxi pick us up to bring us back to the hotel. When my girlfriend was sick, he had someone go to the pharmacy and get her medicine. Brining it directly to the room. But it wasn’t just him. We had a boat booked for over six months. The morning we were supposed to embark on a full day trip, the captain messaged and said the boat had a problem so he had to cancel. My family was devastated as they were looking for to it. I went to the reception (as it was early) and the front desk personnel called many places to see what was available as alternatives for my family to do. He then found us a boat that could take us that same morning. Amazing service! And the food is also incredible. So fresh and tasty.
