There are better places to stay in the area This place is definitely improved since Hilton took it over, but if you're looking for great customer service, go elsewhere. Nice view, well maintained, high end restaurant took over the attached facility on the property (very nice, but will lighten your wallet considerably), but they nickel and dime you for parking in the public garage next door, breakfast is entirely on your dime, and request the general manager to contact you after housekeeping wakes you up by banging on your door at 0720, and then again at 0750, when the "do not disturb tag"is on the outside of the door and checkout is not until 11am?-don't hold your breath. At many places you would receive some sort of consolation prize for such shabby treatment (rewards points, discount on the room rate)-here, "so sorry, have a nice day". I will, next time somewhere else."

Overall good with a few small glitches. Overall a very nice place to stay. A few exceptions were the room was rather dark. Individual lights everywhere but no single overhead...dim lighting unless I lit every light in the room. Also, someone elses shorts/bathingsuit/underwear in the closet and an Uber delivery to the door that was not mine. The swimming pool is also very cold. Not heated in the least and the hot tub would boil a lobster. Need to find something a bit inbetween on both. People are very friendly and willing to help with closet issue immediately. The hotel has wonderful views but next time I will stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor. A bit noisy near the restaurant in the morning. Overall enjoyable.

Forget About A Morning Swim It's a nice hotel EXCEPT that the pool does not open until 8:30 a.m. Forget about swimming before meetings or appointments. Also, the hair dryer has a two-foot cord. I am only 5'5" and I had to stand close to the wall to dry the top of my hair. I would not go again unless they change their pool hours.

***READ BEFORE MAKING YOUR RESERVATIONS*** ***WARNING*** WARNING***WARNING*** TO ANYONE WHO BOOKS ROOM THAT IS A GREAT RATE be advised I DID NOT PAY ENOUGH FOR HILTON TO CARE ABOUT MY POOR TREATMENT!!! Hilton labeled and treated me as less than a person because my nightly rate was not high enough. Hilton hotels would rather cancel a 7 night reservation then resolve customer issues. Hilton feels nothing should be done because customer did not pay enough for their room. Hilton manager hangs up after offering to cancel her stay. They will chastise guests for not paying enough when using priceline and not using Hilton reservations. Hilton guests need to pay more for Hilton to care about the guests feelings. I had to file another complaint because manager closed out first case immediately after she hung up on me.

So So We stayed here for an evening after flying in from MKE. We’d hoped for better but found it to be so - so. We stayed on floor 1 in a marina facing room. The view is lovely and it’s great to be near the marina. The windows that slid open had a lot of bugs and dirts in the track. None of the doors in the room shut properly. It could have been humidity but still. And although the hotel had been updated it still had the feeling of being older and just painted over. I’m sensitive to things feeling uber clean and safe and this just didn’t do the trick for me. My husband did say he felt the room was nice enough to just plop into the bed and get some rest. He is less sensitive to sounds and specifics so if you don’t have heightened attention to these types of things you’d probably be fine. If you do though, I might encourage looking elsewhere before you decide.
