QUALITY INN & SUITES - 2617 APPLIANCE CT RALEIGH NC The hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful at check in and check out. The room was great. We had a king bed and it was very comfortable. We were late for breakfast, we slept in but were still able to get toast and cereal. Overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Mario - Rude Front Desk Clerk 3 room reservations were made over NC State University grad wknd, and were prepaid on 1 credit card. My elderly parents, one of which was disabled, got into town first around 3pm and tried to check in. They were told by Mario the front desk clerk that they could not check into their rooms because they were not the credit card holder. The credit card holders could not get into town until 9pm, bc they had to work. Mario was rude and would not work with my family at all. Clearly, the rooms were under my parents’ name and it was just a matter of switching out credit cards into their names, or something else could have worked out so that my elderly parents wouldn’t have to wait 6 hrs to get into their rooms. My mother suffers from severe asthma and needed a breathing treatment from her nebulizer, and needed to check in so she could give herself a treatment without having to go to a public restroom. However, Mario time and time again refused to work with them and exacerbated the situation by being rude to every single member of my family from the credit card holders who called back to reason with him to my elderly parents. When my parents came back at 7pm to see if they could just book a room under their credit card, they were informed that it would be considered a double booking since they already had a room that was pre-paid. Furthermore, Mario informed them that he canceled all three rooms bc he felt threatened on the phone when they talked to their son. The son had told him he was going to write up a bad review for his rudeness, and this was the threat that caused Mario to cancel 3 prepaid rooms over a busy college grad weekend, with NO notice to the credit card holders. If my parents hadn’t called to let them know, they would have arrived at 9pm and told then. It should be noted that no one could talk to a manager bc Mario repeatedly said none was onboard. Mario also repeatedly said he did not have the authority to override the policy to let my elderly parents check in without the cardholder present, and yet he had the authority to cancel 3 prepaid rooms WITHOUT notification to the credit card holders. This was poor business conduct. Customers should never be mistreated in this manner. If we could have given this business a zero star review, we would have.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE Sent My technician out on a business trip and he got to the hotel and the woman at the front desk was very rude and would not let my guy check in. The whole purpose of a Credit Card authorization is so he don't have any trouble checking in when he goes there. I called this morning and wanted to talk to the manager but manager was not there so i spoke with a guy and he even confirmed i sent the cc authorization form over and still argued with me about it. WE WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE AGAIN

Sad and depressing place Family member chose this hotel based solely on distance to their house. (Will never allow anyone to pick my hotel again!). Lobby feels like being booked into county jail. I’m sure the majority of customers are folks who can barely afford a place to stay, so staff is very cautious and treats everyone like they are going to rip them off. Fun. Hotel is old and sad. Hallway carpeting covered in brown stains. Ugh. Room smelled like it was last inhabited by a smoker who cooked fish in the microwave. Up early to leave today (yay!) as we were awakened at 4:30 am by the clunky clank of the dumpster under our window being emptied. Never again.

Corporate, business owners, managers don’t use For years I have traveled for work. Corporate arranges the room and when I show up I provide my ID and card. For a 6 visit (1night each) over 3 weeks to Raleigh this hotel was selected. The first time I showed up but realized I left my purse at home and the hotel clerk required a plastic card. He said he would not let me check in and he would refund the prepaid reservation. The 2nd of 6 was today. I appeared and presented my ID and plastic and he would not let me check in. This time he says the card a guest uses to book the room with must be the card that is presented. So all you business owners, managers, government, etc. This hotel will not let you send your employees here. I know, so weird. He actually thinks headquarters should make several thousand copies of the business account card and give one to each employee. The only way around it is to have your employees make their own reservations and submit for reimbursement. But that does cause a hardship for them. So it’s best just not to even consider this hotel for your business needs. So after this second attempt, another hotel that is business friendly and allows corporate to send employees has been selected. We won’t ever consider this place again for employees to stay.
