Not impressed at all… This hotel is the Econo Lodge, not Quality Inn. Not sure where I start. To put it simple, the squeeze is not worth the juice. Meaning, the nightly cost of this place is not worth it. In my opinion. Especially when paying $80 plus. On a positive note, the Hotel staff are very friendly. However, walking into the hotel, one can tell that it is very outdated and worn out. It could use a complete refurbishment. There are two stories to the hotel, but there is no elevator. So if you cannot walk up a flight of stairs, look for another hotel. Here are a few things I noticed (see the photos): one of the glass doors on the 2nd floor was broken, the glass had “spider webbed” as if someone had punched it; the hallways were painted by a 10 yr old child, or someone who just did not care. As for the room… ugh! Carpet was wet near the 1980s - something air conditioner unit. It is so wet that the carpet either had mold growing or it was calcium build up; remote for the TV did not work, and it had black electrical tape on the back to retain the batteries; dirty mirror; towels must be a premium, the towels in the room had holes and were stained, but at least they smelled clean; lampshade was so old and brittle I was concerned the heat from the light bulb might catch the yellowed lampshade on fire; the interior lock bolt did not work; the latch for the door is missing; fire alarm had wires hanging out, I am sure it does not work; curtain missing the hooks to slide the curtain open and closed. As for the “continental” breakfast. Well, if you call toast/bagel/muffins with an assortment of jelly, yogurt (one flavor), cereal (two kinds), very sweet OJ, watered down coffee as Continental, you will be in heaven. Now, see the photos. Namaste

Stay away Disgusting rooms. It was late...Holiday Inn was full. Dirty, stained comforters on beds, black stains (mold?) on FACECLOTH....gobs of toothpaste on the FAUCET. Lots of mold on shower curtain and tub. The WINDOW had 3 of 4 panes of glass broken! Room 1116. Filthiest place I ever stayed. A/c worked and bed was comfortable.

Problems all over The hotel was not able to make keycards, so I had to wait for a maid to come to the front office to let me into my room. My first room was really smelly. It had a broken window that I almost cut my arm with when I opened the drapes. The refrigerator was off and unplugged, so I couldn’t keep my cold drinks cold. So, I had to go to the front desk to register a complaint. The front desk attendant asked me if I wanted to change rooms. I said yes. The attendant gave me another room. I had to wait again for a maid to come and let me into the new room. The new room smelled great, but it had a smaller bed than the first room. I went back to the front desk and asked the attendant about the size of the bed. She said there were no more king sized rooms available. Since there was still a problem with getting keycards, I had to wait around for the hotel to get their system back up. Because of the wait, I was late for my appointment in Reading. At no point did the attendant offer my a credit, discount, or an apology for the problems with the room and keycards.

Horrible Manager Service I will never stay here again. I have stayed here many times and have never experienced something like this in a hotel before. The manager canceled my reservation 15 minutes after I made it the lady at the desk told me. There was not a single towel or washcloth in my room. I also had to pay an additional $8 to make an additional reservation. Never again.
