Updated and convenient As with many Marriott properties, this example has been updated and refreshed. Everything I need for a business trip is here including The Bistro where I can choose healthy meals ( or not :) . Also as is true with every Marriott property I have visited around the country, the staff is professional and very pleasant. The consistency of customer service is remarkable.

Great location outside of Red Bsnk I understand it is the height of "beach season", but I was not expecting close to $300 a night. The front desk staff were nice and gracious and check in was effortless. However my room key did not work and housekeeping had to open my door. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Many people take their towels and put them over the railing (beach towels) This actually makes the hotel look really tacky. Most hotels that I have visited, do not allow this practice. Upon ck in I was told about breakfast being served from 7 or so in the lobby. Note: breakfast is NOT free, you even have to pay for coffee! When I inquired about this I was told this was due to "Covid". I have been to many many Marriotts and even if the breakfast is really basic, I have never had to pay. On the plus side, this is a great location right outside of Red Bank and close to the GSP. On thr first floor, there are little patios where you can sit outside your room in comfy chairs. The beds are comfortable and as always, the pillows and sheets are the Marriott standard of comfort. The property is relatively quiet. Overall, it was ok. I have been to Marriotts all over the world. The major downfall was : nobody was wearing masks, I had just been to another Marriott and everyone had a mask on.. staff, housekeeping. If you stopped serving free breakfast due to covid, wouldn't it make sense for staff and guests to wear masks?? I have been to worse and I have been to much better.

Excellent Stay My husband and I stayed here three nights in early June due to a funeral for a family member. I requested the top floor and back of the hotel since we are very light sleepers. We were greeted by Kate when we arrived and she made us feel like family. Our request for the room was granted and we had a nice king room which was very quiet. Even though we had guests nearby, we didn't hear any noise. The hotel was recently renovated and we liked the new color scheme, furniture throughout the hotel and in the room. Everything was clean, and all staff members wore face masks. Due to COVID, they offered free coffee/tea/muffins/cinnamon buns/cereal/bottled water/snack bars/etc. to get your day started. We had an issue with our door and the maintenance man arrived within minutes. I forgot his name (sorry) but the issue was resolved right away. It was a different type of lock that we weren't used to. During our stay, we spoke to Kate, Barbara Shannon as well as the maintenance man. They were very sincere when they found out that my mom passed away. Whenever they saw us, they took time to ask how we were doing and if there was anything they can do. We greatly appreciate the kindness, especially during a difficult time. Thanks to them, we will be back in the future when we travel to NJ again.

Overnight at the Jersey Shore Stayed at the Red Bank Courtyard this past Saturday night and our stay could not have been any better. We were greeted with a cheerful hello, and our room was immaculately clean. Lots of reviews said the walls were really thing, and lucky, I don't think we had anyone on either side of our room as it was really quite. Slept in and missed the Grab and Go Breakfast but the person at the front desk gave us some breakfast to go anyway. I'd definitely stay there again.
