Nice enough place, but... The hotel is nice, nothing fancy but well kept. The staff were friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and everything is definitely clean. Unfortunately the bathroom smelled so strongly of cleaning product we had to leave the door open and run the fan. Maybe not a big deal for some, but when you have asthma, it is. The rooms have all the basic amenities and noise was never a problem for us. But, for me the bed was hard as a rock and some how the pillows were too. A big part of the reason we chose this hotel was for the heated, indoor pool. There was a rare cold snap and a pool is a must for us. The pool was clean and just the right temperatur but the overwhelming smell of chlorine was barely tolerable. No towels available and the jacuzzi wasn't exactly clean. Overall our experience was fine. If the beds were comfortable I would rate it higher.

Bathroom flooded The night we checked in, we noticed a strong smell in our room and bathroom. The couch was pretty dingy looking with some crusty white marks on it, curtains were stained, and dresser drawers didn't even seem clean to use for our clothes. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and a half-used toilet paper roll. We didn't think it could get much worse... We went out for dinner and drinks. Less than four hours later we came back to a flooded bathroom floor. The light fixture was hanging down from the ceiling and dripping water every few seconds. I had two of my bags on the ground which were completely soaked, one with my curling iron inside of it. It was about 11:30 pm and I called the front desk but there was no maintenance service to come fix the leak. I told him we couldn't even use the toilet because the leak was dropping right in front of it. He stated he could not change our room because they were over-booked for the night. I said I'll need the night comped and he said we could speak to the manager in the morning around 8 or 9 am. Then, he offered us extra towels, which we had to go down and retrieve ourselves. So, if you're planning on providing your own housekeeping service, that's exactly what you'll do. We mopped up the bathroom floor ourselves and placed one of the trash cans under the leak, as the front desk did not have a bucket or other container we could use. At this point, we did not feel like valued guests and were extremely disappointed in how the staff handled this situation. In the morning, the front desk called and I stated the leak had stopped but the light was still hanging down from the ceiling. They said they'd send someone up to fix this. To "make it right," they offered me $30 off the bill. I stated that I would need more than that, after this whole ordeal. They called the manager and came back to me with $45 as their best offer. I requested the first night be comped and was told that would be hard to do but they'd call back. Someone else now called me, Sean, but he was still not the manager. I was never given the opportunity to speak to the manager myself. Sean offered us $50 off, to which I replied that I would need half off the first night. He agreed to do that, which was about $75. He also offered to get us a new room, as it was the person above us who had flooded their bathroom floor by not using the shower curtain properly. They had instructed that guest on proper use, however, if it happened again this next night, they wouldn't do anything for us. We opted to stay since the leak had stopped, anyway, and really didn't want to move all of our stuff for just one more night. Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I absolutely understand that things happen, but at that point it is the quality of the customer service that makes a difference and the Comfort Suites, Redlands, completely missed the mark. They definitely don't value their guests, as you can tell from some of these other reviews. I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to anyone, as they cannot provide basic hospitality service or clean rooms.

Great stay! My husband and I were in town for a family reunion. I chose this hotel via other reviews and I'm glad I did. The room was nice - a bit outdated? Sure but still roomy and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was large and well-supplied. The pool/spa was terrific! And the washer/dryer was an added bonus; we had been there 5 days and still had a Disneyland trip to dress for. There was no laundry soap in the vending machine so the management had set out a bottle. Much appreciated! The TV was fine and we loved having HBO for a few nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful. There was plenty of food/shopping nearby. Plus (we play Pokemon Go) the fountain is a pokestop! We would definitely stay here again.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! What an experience we had this past weekend. I was in town for business and had my family with me. I noticed trash overflowing out of the trash can right outside the front door as soon as I arrived. Shortly after checking into our room we heard horrific screaming and cursing coming from the room next door. I immediately called down to the front desk and asked to change rooms, but of course they were "completely booked". After multiple calls to the front desk they said they would "take care of it". After a while the screaming and cursing stopped so we thought we were good. The area around the hotel is full of homeless and there are encampments in the bushes surrounding the hotel. The next evening when I arrived back tot he hotel very tired from a long day there was now a pile of trash next to the trash can by the front door. About 9:45p the horrific screaming and cursing began again. It literally sounded like someone was being murdered in the room next door. The banging on the walls sounded like all the furniture was being tossed too. I called down to the front desk and begged the manager to do something. He said he would "take care of it" and seemed to indicate this was a usual occurrence. What the heck!!! Nothing happened and the screaming intensified. By now was wife was terrified because it sounded like this crazy person was going to come through our wall. I called multiple more times to the front desk because nothing happened and the manager said there wasn't really anything he could do. I was so fed up and upset that I called the police. After an amount of time it did sound like the police came. I'm not really sure what happened but the screaming and cursing stopped but banging noises continued for the next several hours. Needless to say we terrified and now couldn't sleep. What a terrible deal. I am just thankful that my young kids slept through that event because they heard the one the night before. I would like to think that this was an isolated one time event but I'm not so sure based on my interactions with onsite management. I really would like my money back from this hotel. I have travelled the world and stayed in countless hotels, but I would have to say that this was, by far, my worst hotel experience ever. BEWARE!!!!!!
