Late Check In Ruined the start of our football game day experience not having a room available when it was supposed to be. Had to drop bags and run to get to the game with enough time to find our seats.

Poor Accommodation and Overcharged We stayed in this hotel for the nights of 3 and 4 July 2024. We were most unhappy with the experience. We booked online and were quoted a total price for the two nights. On check-out we were charged the quoted price plus provincial and federal taxes (as expected) but also $4.77 and $4.85 for “Destination Marketing Fee 3%”. Why on earth should we be expected to pay that? We were also charge $15 per night for parking when we made it quite clear on check-in that we didn’t have a car. We are entitled to a refund of $39.62. The first room we were allocated was right by the elevators and was very noisy. So we aske to be moved. The second room was further from the elevators but the air-conditioning system was very noisy, making loud thumps every time it started up or shut down. So we asked to be moved again. The third room was a bit quieter but still there was significant noise coming from the air-conditioning system. At that stage we gave up and resolved to never stay in your hotel again.

Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. After check in we were having a nap in our room when the door opened and in walked this male, he had inadvertently given the wrong room. Upon checkout the next morning, we mentioned this to the manager on duty an Asian lady. She took our name and number and several hours called us back apologizing and saying that the staff member had been spoken to. That was not our intent to get anyone in trouble. Regardless she wanted to make it up to us by saying next time we were in Regina give her a call. Well fast forward to March of this year, the 19th to be exact. The day before I phoned the hotel, however, the lady was on vacation. I asked to speak to the manager and I left him a voicemail. Still waiting for the return call. Anyway the experience in March wasn’t much better. The bathroom light was flickering. I mentioned it to the front desk. No one came to look at it. On top of that we got a parking ticket in the underground parking. They did take care of it. We gave the hotel a second chance and it was unsatisfactory. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you.
